NEED ABILITY TO CHANGE "BASENAME" ON DISPOSABLE EMAIL
ALL USERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO CHANGE THEIR "BASENAME" ON THEIR DISPOSABLE EMAIL ACCOUNTS. FROM WHAT I'VE READ MOST PEOPLE (INCLUDING ME) DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS BEING DONE. THE FUNCTION USE TO BE THERE TO EDIT OR DELETE THE BASE NAMES. IT IS RIDICULOUS THAT WE CANNOT ANYMORE. IF ANYTHING GIVE IT A LIMIT LIKE YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR BASE NAME NO MORE THAN 10 TIMES AND HAVE A COUNT DOWN AS TO HOW MANY TIMES YOU'VE DONE IT. IF YOU GO TO THE HELP SECTION AND SEARCH FOR HOW TO DO THIS YOU GET ALL THE STEPS ONLY THING IS.....THOSE STEPS HAVE BEEN ERASED!! IT'S MY EMAIL AND I SHOULD BE ABLE TO NAME IT WHAT I WANT AND CHANGE IT WHEN I WANT/NEED. THERE ISN'T EVEN THE OPTION FOR ALIAS. WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DELETE AN ACCOUNT TO CHANGE THAT INFORMATION.

This was also something that caught me off guard and is huge design flaw.
I understand from the FAQ / help that all aliases would use the same base name and ok, I can live with that limitation... but to actually have it be PERMANENT and unchangeable forever for your account is ridiculous.
It's a problem for a few years now and Yahoo has reviewed and closed the other uservoice comments and apparently refused to fix.
I was just about to sign up for premium account given a discount now, when I came across this issue and now I definitely will not. What use is 500 other aliases if we can't change the basename?
What can Live support do if they can't actually get in contact with the development team? In opensource projects we can at least file bugs.
I'd rather pay for a real flexible email alias / forwarding service instead
