There is an email address that floods Yahoo inboxes. They change the last 5 digits before ".org" and keep sending SPAM. That address is: mail@email.*****.org (asterisks show the 5 digits they randomly rotate. Is there any way to stop them from sending? I had over 200 in my SPAM folder from them.

Enhance the blocked address list as follows:
1. When selecting view all, place check box in front of each address to make deleting easier.
2. Add select all or delete all button.
3. Add number of hits column to aid in list cleanup.
4. Add setting to allow user to increase size in 1k increments.
5. Add export button so user can export to xls or comma delimited file.
6. Add wild card/masking option so we can keep ahead of spammers who just add 1 to their address or domain name.Items 1 thru 5 should be relatively simple task even for a programmer trainee. Item 6 is a bit more difficult but i am sure there is some canned code for that somewhere.
After all this is the 21st century and sometimes it looks like Yahoo is stuck in the early 20th century!!

The spam is ridiculously obvious. The only reason this spam gets through is because you let it through. Stop bullying me to buy your premium service.

Why aren't "newsletter" scam emails in my Inbox at all, and why so many in my Junk box as well??
How many new spam addresses can we try to block before surrendering to the barrage of garbage? -

Like everyone else that gets spam, the problem is that yahoo mail uses the spam filter before applying the user filters. This is the wrong way around. The user supplied filters will be accurate in sending the unwanted emails to the deleted email folder. For example I am constantly flooded by spam from the @hotmail.com and @outlook.com domains.
I DO NOT KNOW ANYONE that uses @hotmail.com and @outlook.com anymore for legitimate emails. I have added filters to send these domains to the deleted email folder but they still appear in the spam folder.
It would be preferable to block the @hotmail.com and @outlook.com email domains all together !! That would remove at least 50 to 60 % of the spam.
HELP ?

Once in a while Yahoo will send a valid e-mail to spam. That's fine, Better safe than sorry, But now that I can no longer block spammers searching for valid e-mails among the spam is not worth my time. It would be easier to switch my primary e-mail to another carrier that listens to its users.

The spam filter is clearly broken and the only reason I can come up with is that the filter wrongly marked a legit email as spam and someone complained. Well the solution is not to open up the flood gates and allow email that is very clearly spam (even for the most rudimentary of filters should detect) through. It is not working properly and needs to be addressed.

I am about to drop all use of Yahoo. In the last 3 months, I went from getting maybe 20-30 SPAM auto-filtered per month,
to a hundred UNFILTERED put in my Inbox last month.
to 680+ UNFILTERED SPAM in my inbox today, in 6 days!WHAT Happened Yahoo? Did someone turn off all SPAM blocking functionality? I have less than 20 business related and newsletters total that I use with Yahoo - I do not use it publicly.
Do you know how long it takes to scan through 680 SPAM messages, click the checkbox and then click SPAM? Like one comment I read here - your SPAM process opens the email before putting in SPAM folder and that notifies sender??? Is this true? Looks like it since I have not used my Yahoo with any 'new' locations for many months.Suggestion:
1) Support allowing email only from my contacts. PLEASE ADD THIS!
2) Block all emails sent from email addresses whose domain do not match content. I.e. email saying from Netflix when sent from gmail.com
3) I checked Privacy and Security settings - wow, Yahoo supports only 4 blocked domains... not enough. -

I get 10 emails a day from this place - they all bypass your spam filters. Please figure it out. If anyone is also having this issue I would call the Camp Lejeune settlement place at 1-800-628-7710 and ask to be removed. They only way they will stop is if you start wasting their time. You can even file a mock claim to help you get through.

Please start blocking know spammers and phrases that continually come in hundreds of times a month.
For example: this heading is a known spam:"You're about to permanently delete all your contact(s)."
Please just block it, no matter where it comes from. It is known and obvious spam. Same with many other phrases that continually clog my email box.
Do better.

despite "block senders" and we are over 80, I continuously receive spam in my mailbox, I have other mailboxes with other providers, but I don't receive so many spams per day, I think yahoo spam blocker, is not reliable, like others. you need to review your block servers for leaks from all sides
