I have filters to send mail from local community leaders to a specific folder. I recently missed a critical community meeting because my filters were ignored and several messages were sent to spam!

How about a box we can check included with each e-mail to identify scam mails so that you can block them from ever showing up in the system again.
I received an e-mail from admin@separticized.tech claiming that they are part of your "Yahoo Support Team" claiming my address received 42 complaints of my account.
As far as I'm concerned, they're taking your name in vain.

Getting over 200+ junk emails per day, some every 5 minutes. This has been going on for over a year.

Track and block obvious spam. Web Search suggested everyone is getting the Temu hourly emails, Renewal by Anderson, package Notification, Pron request, etc. If they are in the News, certainly Yahoo is aware these are Spam and should be able to block them from our email entirely.

Since yesterday, I can no longer filter e-mails from the Spam category. Before, I could select them to automatically go to the Trash. Why does this option no longer exist? Why should my spam file be filled with nonsense? There are situations when I receive e-mails directly in Spam and they are important e-mails. Instead, 99% are garbage.

I cannot receive the code sent to my yahoo account to reset my microsoft account's password. My span folder is empty. I've been trying to receive the code for months already.

Instead of blocking e-mail addresses! Why not allow blocking the name of the company for instant. Harbor Freight send me multiplied letters every day. I block them, but still get them. Because the e-mail address changes.

I don't mind ads but Yahoo doesn't seem to have any oversight on these. I get daily spam/phishing ads about a MacAfee license. As its an ad I can't block it but why does Yahoo not police this better? I'm afraid you are letting the side down here.

Why doesn't "block email" work? I block the sender, yet I still get emails every day from them..

In the age if AI, can you really not filter emails that are clearly spam? Literally ever day I get emails from addresses like
"ekuqy7o9yhmidmbxpr4fkuyqoxszis72l3qlib9nee01dd3oxrwf9tnbpkr15@bhtd..".
I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I don't need to even open this to know its a scam. -

There has to be a way to block some of the nudity, vulgar words, and other disgusting emails that come in. Yes they go to spam but it should not get through with some of the language and topics that I see . Just blocking a domain does nothing. Spammers use different domains every day and every hour. They are also useing other legitimate business names for phishing and this is getting to be ridiculous

It looks like Yahoo is deliberately selling our email address to the dark web due to excess spam that I've been receiving. This has been happening to my email for the past year and it is very annoying. Once you block one, another fake email will get to the spam folder. This has never happened to my Gmail or Outlook accounts. Yahoo, please get your act straight!
