On the main Yahoo.com page, in the upper right corner is the Mail icon. If I'm logged in, I can hover over it and a dropdown shows my latest several emails. But over the last couple months, it's also been showing new Spam messages in addition to any new Inbox emails. I don't believe there's any Setting for this dropdown so I can only think that some code or algorithm changed that pulls Spam as well as Inbox emails into this. Any chance you can look at this and determine where the bug is?

Why can't Yahoo block ALL spam from zoqloq.com on your end?

I have been getting hit with at least 20 spam emails in my inbox for the past week, not even going to my spam folder. I block each email sender, and still get the same spam emails the next day. This is ridiculous.

account-security-noreply@accountprotection.microsoft.com should not be blocked by spam filter.

I really want to see these blue dot McAfee, blue dot Costco and other type things NOT arrive at all in my Yahoo.ca mail. The "sender" bolded name in the Inbox listing, is always with a blue dot, then some spaced-out form of, say, McAfee, like -M+c+A+f+e+e-, bolded. Surely your system can filter out these, as I don't know how many filters I am allowed in Yahoo Pro, which I have. I am cautious about what I read online in Google, but maybe reading a few ads in CNN or something caused this...

Please set up an incoming-to Yahoo.ca [my form of Yahoo mail] Spam elimination, as other email providers seem to do a lot better. I really like the Yahoo format, decorated message "writing paper" one can use, nice way of arranging everything -- but something is terribly wrong with allowing so much obvious Spam into the user's Spam folder.

STOP UNSUBCRIBING ME FROM LISTS THAT I DID NOT UNSUBSRIBE FROM!!!! I should be able to subsribe to anything I wish to. Yahoo has no right to decide for me and unsubsribe me from lists and block them with out my permission. So sick of this ****

I repeatedly get a spam email with the phrase:
"You're about to delete all your contact(s)"
I have set numerous filters to send these directly to trash, yet they continually show up.
This is an attempt at identity theft and hijacking computer equipment.
It appears Yahoo is in collusion with these players. Everyone agree? -

if the email address is saved as a contact, why does yahoo still move it to spam, I have to keep making the emails (which are in my contact) as not spam. Email address in contacts should not be marked as spam

How do we report and stop the hundreds of scam e-mails I get every day?
-
Neal Monsour commented
I have repeatedly gotten this subject line from a spammer:
You're about to permanently delete all your contact (s)I have blocked this key phrase many many times in the additional settings, yet I continue to receive these attempts at hacking and identity theft. Yahoo refuses to block this.
If anyone else has this issue then if should also be reported to law enforcement or possible legal action.

What did y'all do to your Spam filter. Very few spam emails populated my inbox previously. Now I get at least 30 SPAM emails a day. I mark them as spam, but it doesn't do any good. Turn the SPAM filter back on!

Put a lot more $ towards Spam catching. It's unfathomable how far behind Yahoo is compared to competitors.

So I get 30 spam ,scammer emails daily . I go in and tell it to block all info from this sender . Immediately , within seconds , I get another about the same exact scam , the same exact page but with a different address as sender . What this tells me is that YOU are the ones doing this . Stop sending me this **** . I NEVER , ever had this problem until Goggle took over . Now it is nonstop . To make it worse , I give that email to no one . It is a gaming email .
