Do you do anything about SPAM ? For the past 3 months i have been diverting spam emails to the spam folder but this does not seem to help ?

For years I rarely got a 'real' spam message. NOW, for the last month or so, I am getting TEN OR MORE spam messages EVERY DAY! And yes, most of them seem to be ****!
WHAT HAPPENED YAHOO? Obviously there was some kind of viable spam filter before, so what happened? DO SOMETHING - FILTER THESE DISGUSTING EMAILS!

I have tried to block these, but they come back far worse,... I have tried to get Yahoo to put them straight into trash, but that is not happening. Yahoo' is n doing what it says it will do. I am a good customer and want to continue using Yahoo. The ads are O.K, but the *********** is not !

If someone classifies several e-mail as spam, have your algorithm rewritten to recognize the oddity in the addresses of who sent the emails and thus always recognize these as spam. Many of these have a miscellaneous string of letters with ".uk", ".co", etc at the end of the address. These spammers make it look like the e-mail is coming from a legitimate company. I know because I got caught responding to one and had $89.00 fraudulently changed to my bank card. Luckily my bank asked me about the charge and nothing was deducted from my account. However, I did have to get a new card.

Recently, a large amount of spam has been getting through from Malaysian URLs with .click extensions. Why are you letting them through?
Secondly, a simple idea to implement would be to throw all emails that predate today into spam. Every few days I have to go through the mail back 8 months to a year to eliminate new unread email spam with fake sent dates.
You expect us to pay extra when you can't do simple stuff on the regular mail? Not a chance.

Yahoo Spam filters do not work. All the instructions by Yahoo do nothing. I already have the maximum amount of accounts labeled as Spam. It's like spam accounts know people are flagging their emails as spam, so they spoof their account address to a different email account. Spam never stops, just grows. If Yahoo does not get a handle on this I will drop this email account. Yahoo by far, worse than any other email account service. I have Gmail, MSN, and Yahoo, and Yahoo is by far the worse!

I use Mailwasher Pro to as a sort of first step filter to preview email. Up to the past week or ten days, I've rarely been seeing anything but legitimate mail through Yahoo, but since there's been one or two spam almost daily, mostly from the same sources. Before doing anything with it, I go to Yahoo Mail and it doesn't show anywhere. I'm not sure what to make of this, but sure wish Yahoo would get onto it.

please fix the spam filters. for months, I've been receiving spam messages in my inbox (the first half of the year was mostly okay)... and despite clicking the "spam" button on every single one, it seems like the filter just isn't learning because they keep coming back - I'm often seeing 20 or more in a day, and I'm upset that I need to do the work that you should be doing

You have a serious bug in yahoo email. I block emails in my spam folder but they immediately pop back in. An onscreen message says they are being blocked and deleted but they aren't-they are still in my spam folder. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

I repeatedly get spam with "You're about to permanently delete all your contact(s)." in the subject line. This is an attempt at identity theft. I have now blocked over 50 of these in the filters to go right to trash, yet I still get these daily redundant emails.
APPARENTLY YAHOO is engaging in collusion with identity thieves by allowing these emails to go through. I know better but many others perhaps do not. I believe its time to take some action about this. -

I am getting too much spam mail in my inbox. Today I copied all the addresses they are coming from. It looks like the same scammer uses various email ids. It keeps changing. Does anyone have an idea to block these emails?
