Isn't your spam filtering supposed to learn from marking things not spam? I get regular emails from my software and 90% of them land in my Inbox, 10% in spam folder. Identical emails. I have literally marked the same email not spam a thousand+ times and they still get filtered. If you aren't going to teach your filter to learn by marking not spam, at least provide the decency to let us specify some email addresses to never filter to spam. These aren't just random emails, they are important customer updates that I can't afford to lose and I shouldn't have to spend this much time fishing around my spam folder to retrieve them.

I'm averaging 7 or more spam emails a day now, from addresses such as 5122f5d4dmslsMLSDOOD9D0912@nadallom.com along with 165 others (and counting), with similar obviously computer-generated addresses. Why these emails manage to make it past the spam filters on a paid Yahoo+ Mail account is beyond me. Fix this, or I will take my decade of loyalty to Yahoo and my subscription fees to another email provider.

Yahoo spam filters are generally reliable, but have been wholly incompetent at handling the massive amount of spam generated by scams relating to Camp Lejeune settlements. I've never been in the military and wasn't even alive yet when the water contamination occurred. It's absolutely ridiculous how much Camp Lejeune spam gets through to my inbox.

The Yahoo spam filter used to be quite effective at catching spam. However, since late September / early October most spam emails have not been caught by the filter and instead delivered to my Inbox. These emails are obviously spam ("Your McAfee subscription expiring", "You have won a competition", "You have a package", etc.).
Clicking the "Spam" button to report an email as spam doesn't seem to have any effect on limiting the spam delivered to my Inbox. -

Your filter program is not working, I have several" remove to trash folder if" filters. The **** and vulgar sites still get through with those words. Yahoo is fast becoming a huge disappointment.

You completely stopped blocking spam. I exhausted all 1000 email addresses and domain blocking and can not block emails anymore, but till a few days ago your algorithm at least was smart enough to put spam email into spam folder, now they all getting to inbox. Please fix that.

Please stop offering to "unsubscribe" from spam emails as it just lets a spammer know the address is "live".
When a spam email passes Yahoo's filter, as it OFTEN does, and Yahoo should only offer to delete the email.
The phony spam "newsletter" should NOT be added by Yahoo to the list of "offers" by Yahoo to unsubscribe on my behalf. -

I would like to know why are we all getting so much SPAM lately? I have had this email address since yahoo started. Now, suddenly I am getting all spam every day. Is it because Yahoo wants us to purchase their new Virus Protection? Is this why this is happening? IT NEVER USE TO PEOPLE OF YAHOO!!!

Yahoo's spam catching algorithms have not kept up with the world of spam. I get about 10 "marketing" emails a day from addresses which are clearly spam. Here's an example of the address of one: uy09pivuur5a2jpkkka9x3q@ezhuqvtbdwfp5lnfb0vv8db.mbahprediksi.site. These spam emails often show the same display name, but you can't block the sender as they are randomizing their email address and domain name each time. Yahoo -- please improve your spam logic to recognize bogus email addresses!

Right now we can only block by the email address - example "info_flipDQ1EaHT@news.qgwhirygusd.com"
All they have to do is change a number or letter and it's a new email that won't be blocked. However what shows on the email received is "RenewalbyAnderson", so allow blocking the email be what shows and there is not many ways they can change the email so it will be easier to block. -

I believe you have loosened up the spam filter so you can make it unpleasant to use your free email. You want us to change to your paid version. It's not going to happen! There are other free email services that have much better spam filters.

I think you are trying to force your users into paying for "better" mail so that you can charge a bunch of money. There are too many other options that actually screen out the hundreds of junk mail messages I receive each day. Your greed is going to cost you users.

Your spam filter is non-existent! It used to block much of my spam, but now everything comes through to my inbox. It is too much to deal with and if you can't or won't fix it, I will stop using this as my primary email and then phase it out over time.

Your inability to detect and block malicisouis emails is embarassing. I rarely uses this account and I get hundreds of spam emails in this mail bax and they usuallully all follow the same format so they would be easily detected by the most basic anti spam systems which shows Yahoo has zero protections for users.

I have been getting Spam emails from 21451043@offer##-zoqloq.com where "##" is iteration of random numbers. I used filters for "To:" containing and Block Sender incl. "zoqloq.com," "-zoqloq.com," "21451043@offer," but nothing works. Yahoo! Mail sucks!! Filter or Block Senders DON'T WORK.
