How can we improve New Mail?

I have searched past comments ... none address my issue .

I would think that me using LESS memory would be a good thing ? But when I go to delete old emails ... why can I only delete one at a time instead of a day or week or month at a time ??? If there is a way to better / faster delete old emails please advise ... Thanx ... asapaction88@yahoo.com
