I need to find a contact. I put in something like a name. I get 5 choices (used to be 6, but Yahoo has changed it recently).
OK, I have about 15,000 contacts. If I search for almost anything, I need more than 5 choices. My Iphone allows me to scroll through choices until there are no more. Why not Yahoo? Makes no sense.

Fix your current problem with duplicate contacts!
There is currently no way to get rid of duplicate contacts in yahoo mail, and they get duplicated quite frequently! There is no "Actions" button, nor "Fix Duplicates" option available to merge the duplicates, as your support website suggests is the solution! Furthermore, once duplicated, neither of the duplicates can be edited nor deleted, because they keep reappearing with the old values (before the attempted edits)! You need to fix this situation, as my contacts are now cluttered with duplicates, and I can not edit them when I need to update their information!

You could reinstate the ability to auto-connect Lists when addressing emails. This function stopped working this week!

We used to be able to see which lists a contact was assigned to and could edit/add/delete from the contact details. It would be helpful to know which lists a contact is in.

Feature - lists from emails
We need a way to quickly create a "list" from actual emails, so we can reply to a lot of incoming emails at once. There should be a menu item "create list" when we check a bunch of emails and right-click or choose the menu icon. All the address of the checked emails should be added to the list and then we name the list.

Delete Auto-Suggested Email Addresses
Please describe the process to PERMANENTLY delete auto-suggested 'non-saved' email addresses when inputting an email into the 'To' tab. Clicking the 'X' is temporary...I need the permanent option.

change how contacs auto load for email the way they did last week; this new way of popping up a box of contacts to choose from is worse
change how contacts load for email back to how it worked last week; the new way of offering a box of contacts to choose from just adds a needless step- why do. you think the change was needed??

ADDING CONTACTS
Make contacts "active" immediately when they are added. I had to wait around 10 hours for the color icon to show up next to contact after that I could edit or delete. Why does it take several hours for contacts to be active?

easier way to get rid of unwanted contacts.
I don't know how all of these contacts got into my yahoo account. It seems as if they were linked through Facebook or something. Is there no other way to get ride of the contacts without having to deleting them 1 by 1?? There is literally over 3600 contacts in my yahoo. The contacts aren't on my phone. But when I want to share something through text, there's all the yahoo contacts. It's annoying to have all these unwanted contacts, there but not there. Hi there. The option to bulk delete contacts is not available at this time, however, we recommend you check your email settings to make sure you do not have the option enabled to enhance contacts. To see this option, click Settings>More Settings>Contacts.

Can't import contacts from csv file
Won't import from csv. Constantly get an error message. Importing from an account also doesn't work, will get the login prompt for the account but then nothing.

Export Contacts list
Why is there plenty of help for importing contacts but nothing for exporting contacts?
Regular email software offers export facilities as either database, csv or plain text as a way to help people back up their contacts lists, move their contacts lists, etc but you only offer importing from other sources, nothing about exportring.
This should be a standard feature...

I cannot change a misspelled first name on my contact list.
We need to be able to edit first (heading) names on our contact list. People change their names and typos happen. I have one that is incorrect, she has corrected me but I can't correct the name on the contact list.

Spamming My Contacts
STOP SPAMMING MY CONTACTS! I've had to get in touch with people and organizations I've had in my contacts list for years, to have them re-up my email address because you keep spamming them! When they are on that list, you should leave them alone!!
