Pls Show Number of Emails in Trash & Spam Folders
Hi, This is an important feature that all emails have, such as Gmail and Outlook.com and you used to have. Please display the number of unread emails in Spam and Trash folders. Thanks!

You should add the option on Yahoo! Mail to report phishing scams like they have on microsoft hotmail! They have the option on there to report phishing scams in the junk mail folder. You should add the option to report phishing scams in the spam folder on Yahoo! Mail!

Not able to sync all yahoo mail folders to outlook.
Give sync procedure in HELP
Please remove and then re-add your account in the Outlook app. Make sure your settings match these: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN4075.html If they match, please set up and use an app password. filters no longer work
i have used filters to sort incoming email since i started using yahoo. they worked FINE until the latest version updates and now NOTHING seems to work on any of them....this was a great feature that needs to be fixed in this new version.
Filters work on a system of precedence: filters higher on the list will overrule those lower. Also keep in mind that our Spam filters take precedence over any other filter or setting on the account. This means that if an emails is determined to be Spam, it will go straight there without being affected by any filter(s) on the account.

new folder
I can't see how to create a new folder. This seems very basic, and should not be this difficult.
You can create a new folder from the Folders list using the “New Folder” option at the top of the list. Once it’s created, you should be able to move emails there with eh “Move” button.

It’s best to mark these emails as Not Spam to keep them from going into the Spam folder in the future. You can also double-check your Mail settings and Spam folder to make sure everything looks good there.

In the old email I created "Purchases" file and deleted them when I received the products. New email will not allow me to delete these emai
New email will not allow me to delete (no check boxes) emails I placed
in a "Purchases" folder. I normally would delete these emails when
the products arrived. What the heck have you done???????????????“Purchase” view isn’t a folder, it’s just a saved search of emails in the mailbox, therefore, you will have to delete the email from the Inbox.

failed renaming folder
I cannot rename a folder. It has no sub-folders. Each time I try, it gives me a message "failed renaming folder" but does not tell me WHY it failed. (This option is critical because I insert a digit before my folder names to control the sequence. I am no longer using folder "3 Xxxxx", but it is blocking a more frequently used folder since I cannot rename it.)

Why is there a Folder called "Suspension" in our list of Folders, and what purpose does it serves?
That folder isn’t a part of Yahoo Mail. It may have been created by you or synced from another device or app that accesses the mailbox.

Can't create new folder
I don't see how to create a new folder when moving an email. This used to be an option on the pulldown menu that showed when I clicked on "Move". It should still be there.
You can create a new folder from the Folders list using the “New Folder” option at the top of the list. Once it’s created, you should be able to move emails there with eh “Move” button.

I need to be able to save some of my emails to folders while cleaning out my mailboxes but they don't transfer.
Allow me to move my correspondence to the folders I have created so that my inbox isn't full. When I move them they aren't transferring and my inbox is full. If I delete them from the inbox, they are completely gone, not filed in the folder.

It is frustrating to search the e-mail and could not find it.If you’re missing emails, you can try doing a a Search in your mailbox or an email restore. Be sure to check the Trash folder for any restored emails.

I would like to be able to delete multiple messages in the trash instead of doing each one separately
Delete multiple messages in the trash
To delete all emails in the Trash, select the box from the top and then click Delete.
To delete multiple consecutive emails:
1. In your Mailbox window, press and hold the Shift key on your keyboard, and then click the first email that you wish to delete.
2. Now, hold the Shift key down, and click the last email in the list. This will select all the emails between the first email and the last email that you have selected.
3. Click Delete.

quit auto-deleting emails
Stop autodeleting emails after a certain amount of days - keep them ALL until I DELETE THEM. I keep emails for certain things and they can be over 1 month old. I try to restore my mail and nothing comes back. Now I lost a ton of items that I really NEEDED!

Keep in mind that the Spam and Trash folders empty themselves periodically throughout the week.

Why is it impossible to delete an unwanted folder?

To delete a folder, please make sure it is empty first. Once the folder is empty you can click on the downward arrow next to the folder name and select “Delete folder” from the dropdown.
