Please remove the "Unread" Folder. It is not showing up and it is dividing my emails. Put them all back in the "Inbox".

yahoo could either post less one sided news in my inbox on yahoo mail about what Trump did or his crownies did which was so 2016 and effects me less right now than what Biden and what the current administration are doing right now today about Inflation / the Border crisis / Crime surge/ a bigger division in society than in 2020 .....

Yahoo does not show a count when putting email in SPAM folder. Emails are not SPAM.

If an email is put in SPAM, let the user know there is an email in the SPAM folder, otherwise over time the email will be deleted by YAhoo. -
Please restore the EMAILS - they are all important.

Trash folder
The trash folder on the app doesn't show all the items deleted like the browser version.

All messages in sent folder disappeared! Although I did change neither my yahoo e-mails features nor delete the sent folder content, I can not reach the sent e-mails which are really important for me.

Need to be able to see at a glance if there are new emails in collapsed folders.
I have an extremely insane amount of filters and huge folder hierarchy; many folders and many sub-folders; and a couple subfolders with subfolders of their own.
I love to be able to see at a glance if I have new email in ALL my folders while they remain collapsed (for cleaner viewing). Meaning highlight the parent folder and display the number of new emails within that folder AND its sub-folders combined. That would be extremely helpful!

Allow date in trash to show the date the email was moved to the trash
The date column in the trash can is the date the email was received. It would be helpful to know the data (and time, of possible) the mail was moved to the trash. Possibly give us a SETTING option to choose which date we show?!

Search / Partial Keywords
Partial keywords currently seems to return only some of the matches. Some shorter words were found, but not a longer word that contained the same partial keyword.

OK, something simple!
How about this:
* If we send an email to ourselves, our inbox says it's from us.
* If an email arrives to us generated by our calendar, it says, "Yahoo Calendar" like IT USED TO!
My goodness.
You make all these changes like you're flipping a coin.........do you guys consult ANYONE? your customers? your spouses? ANYONE before making annoying/useless changes. smh. -

Apply Custom email filters *before* Spam filter
It's been TWO YEARS and I have to check the Spam folder because your Spam filter overrides my Custom email filters. What is wrong with you??

I have 20+ filters set up for specific domains, showing that I clearly want/expect emails from them.
These emails should not end up in the Spam folder. I don't care what your 'statistical learning' thinks is spam. The defined filter clearly shows I WANT THE EMAIL. Your system should not override that.

The spam folder is too aggressive - add filter option to send or not send to spam
The Spam Folder often contains emails that are not spam. I see many feedback regarding this same issue.
Often times I see mail that applies to one of my filters. One thing Gmail provides that Yahoo does not provide is a filter option to or not to send to spam. I'm not sure why this would be necessary, but it might help this issue.

Come on guys! Get calendar reminders out of sent folder
So around April 1, Yahoo decided to have email reminders from the calendar appear in the sent folder? for the first time in 25 years? My goodness. Don't your customers love innovation & improvement /s. Why do you guys constantly ***** around with what's satisfactory?
p.s. Anytime you want to display new email in our spam folder, that'll be great!
p.s. And ANYTIME you want to let us alphabetize our lists, that'll be great! How many more years will be have to wait for something so basic?

Exactly how many times does Yahoo have to be told the same email address is NOT SPAM before they stop putting it in the Spam folder? They haven't changed their email address, they haven't changed their company name, nothing is different. So why don't you get it????
