  2. Search function does not work properly does not find words or filter in selected boxes

    When I put a word in to search it comes back with every email, for example if I put the word burn every email comes up, I know they don't have that word in there. If I put it in quotations and reload a couple times then it sort of sorts some of them out. If I choose inbox then it gives me every box, if I choose a sent it gives me everything. This new mail is horrible and does not work properly. It is a major setback. Bring back the old mail. This one sucks

    Thank you for reaching out. First, please try clearing your cookies, cache and history. After that, if you need to find an email fast, searching your mailbox is the way to go.     If the email is highlighted and you press the delete option on your keyboard please wait after deleting the email. The highlight will move to the next email, and if you press delete again, it will delete that too. If the email is still in the trash folder, you can restore it to the inbox.

  4. when adding a URL link into an email-how to stop the obnoxious huge box that appears

    when adding an url/website name to an email, I used to be able to TURN OFF the HUGE BOX WITH GARBAGE IN IT. The NEW downgraded yahoo mail has it back. How do I TURN IT OFF???

  5. Continues to report items in Draft folder and it has been empty for weeks - BAD software. Do you ever test this stuff ?

    Continues to report that there is no internet connection when WiFI connection drops below about 20Mps. I'm connected otherwise, but mail fails to find the connection.
    This stuff sucks! You make it worse with every 'improvement'. Do you ever test this stuff with live users before forcing it on the public? Is it any wonder the government harasses tech companies?

  6. What if your computer is an older version and new mail does not work?

    Like many comments, if you only have an older Windows 7 or 8 this new mail just does not work, I have been 14 years with Yahoo and I am very sad no one is listening and many will leave! Bring back a choice of a very basic mail. All the adverts just make it much too slow.

  7. I read and delete emails on my phone using the app. When I look at the email on the computer, the emails are still unread and not deleted.Y?

    Yahoo makes it very hard to use the email. When you are going through it on the phone using the Yahoo email app, reading and deleting it, there's no sync on the same email when you use the computer. It's a long chore to redo the same thing and read and delete emails a second time. Fix this problem!

    Sometimes when a mailbox behaves like this it’s because of another program or app the account is being accessed from.

    Syncing issues between the account and a mail app can cause emails to be moved around oddly. If you access the account through a mobile device or app, you may want to remove the account from the device and re-add it to resolve any syncing issues in the future.

  8. Why the reduction in the size of attachments.

    Why the reduction in attachment size. I much prefer the old format of Yahoo mail

    Have you tried general browser troubleshooting or a different browser? If not, please try these steps to fix this issue: help.yahoo.com/kb/sln2891.html
    Also, if you want to send emails containing images, keep in mind that you will need to drag and drop those pictures in Yahoo mail.

  10. DONT MAKE ME PAY FOR HELP!!!!

    Windstream and yahoo are not playing nice and when I called for help I was told by Yahoo that I would have to pay 4.99 a month to get help!!! seriously???!!!! Im thinking of changing to Gmail.... this is ridicules!

  12. NEW version is HORRIBLE!!

    new version is HORRIBLE! EVERY time I try to delete a single email, it deletes it AND the next one!! Making me have to search the TRASH folder to find the email I DID NOT want deleted!!

    the damned side panel gets in my way of viewing emails fully... put those tabs back the way they were so I can see my entire email without having to manually shut that panel... which pops open the second I move on to something else. VERY ANNOYING!

  13. I can not receive emails

    Good day,
    hope this email finds you well.
    I think my account has been hacked as i'm unable to receive ermails but i can send from my account, i think someone has linked my account to theirs. can you please if possiable unlink me. its been over a few weeks now, this have been happening.

  17. This new version of Yahoo Mail does not allow me to send GIF's... WHY????

    This new version of Yahoo Mail does not allow me to send GIF's. Why am I unable to send GIF with this "new" and allegedly "improved" Yahoo mail format????

  19. Rewrites screen

    The screen keeps rewriting and not staying where i have the curser. This is very annoying. I wish you would quit harassing me to try this new e-mail I don't see any improvements.

  20. spam filters suck

    Yahoo, please tell me why after i block and delete a sender's email from my account...
    This one - admin@pentomato.com, your piece of **** filter can't block it. It can't and doesn't block anything I attempt to block.
    What in the **** is wrong with your service? Piece of **** gets worse every day.
    Read the comments, read the critiques, sh!t...do SOMETHING! This is not an isolated incident. FIX the **** service you are attempting to provide.
