Log In
Allow me to use (and save) my password to access e-Mail. Sending me a notification requiring me to respond "Yes" on a Yahoo app on my phone is not working nor is it convenient

disposable email
You need to add the ability for a user to delete the entirety of their disposable email address. The instructions for creating a disposable email address are not clear that creating a "base name" is a one-time process, and not something you do each time you create a disposable email address. I have an email address I have had for about 20 years, and you are telling me the ONLY way to change a mistakenly made "base name" is to delete my Yahoo account and make a new one. Very poor.

Filters do not work very often.
The filters do not work very often. I have created multiple versions for some emails and they still keep showing up in my inbox. Even ones I created a long time ago only work occasionally. Why is this so hard?
Often times, filters won’t work because they are too specific, or too broad. Double check your filter parameters to make sure you aren’t being too precise or too vague.
Also, keep in mind that filters work on position: filters at the top of the list will take priority over lower ones. Our Spam filters also override any filters on the account, so if something is deemed to be Spam, it will ignore filters on the account and go there.

Verification Code - Using my cell phone #.
I'm asked this each time I log in, I decline all the time. Today it made me!!! I don't wan to confirm each time I want to log-in. I want this to go back. How can I update this and remove it.
Also each time I log-in, it asked if I want to stay signed in, I select "NO". When it comes time to log-off, I have to click to no keep me logged-in "again".

Cannot block spam because your block changes the spam email address and inserts a % instead of @. No quality control at Yahoo.

Currently, you can’t block domains in New Mail. Since spammers use so many different addresses to send junk, it’s best to mark these emails as Spam rather than trying to block every domain. This helps our system block these emails better in the future.
Our Spam filters override any filters on the account, so if something is deemed to be Spam, it will ignore filters and blocked addresses on the account and go there.

Password Change Process
Why is changing a password so hard? I had gotten a notification on my phone saying that someone logged into my account, I successfully removed the person off my account but as I was in the process of changing my password all that came up was "use your email" or "use your phone" to sign in. This is helpful to use but that's not what I wanted. I want to change my password and every time I tried to it doesn't give me the option I'm looking for. I don't want to be linked to that help page either because…

Why do you hide info to change password. When will you learn? I guess you feel compromised accounts is just a feature of the platform!

I am getting mail failure one to one ratio.How to change password.Most urgent
I am realy more up due to failed mailed.I am getting failed mail more than 60%.This is very much troublesome.I though that this problum may be solved by changing pass word but there is no option to change password.When searched on Google it says go to security than you can change but it is not there in security also.

You can forward emails in the new version as well, please go to Settings-More Settings-Mailboxes, click your account then scroll down on the menu that opens on the right side.

Notifications on main yahoo page. Please allow an option for them to be disabled. They are almost always irrelevant.
Please allow for an option to disable notifications on the main yahoo page that link to random (or perhaps poorly targeted) articles. It is mildly annoying to constantly see 2 or 3 "notifications" which upon examination, are merely clickbait or random news, not actually a meaningful or pertinent notification (eg. amber alert, impending nuclear disaster, etc.)

You can save your login info, by checking the ‘’stay signed in’’ option on the sign in page and make sure to not clear your cache and cookies in your browser.

Put the options menu where it is easy to find. Are you attempting to be difficult? If so, you have succeeded!

Your problem box is very sensitive. i can't find the block addresses in the settings. I am returning until this is fixed.

I cannot filter e-mails directly from the Inbox!
My work requires me to subscribe to dozens of mailing lists. Yet the new and "improved" mail does not allow me to filter the large volume I receive directly from the Inbox like the old one did.
This renders Yahoo Mail essentially unusable.
You can set up new filters, by going to Settings-More settings-Filters.
