All my pages are BLACK with High contrast links to categories! These are settings for people with poor vision, I understand that. We do not need or like this. Many years ago Yahoo mail, had themes. for example white and blue, and easy to read. Yahoo gives a warning, to not put any important things like credit card numbers. Please update your stationery to something more current. The same old ones have been there for years. Also it's April, you can get rid of the Valentine ones. It can't be that difficult for you to replace the old sad ones and add some new ones especially seasonally. Also I don't think we really need anything politically leaning. Thank you

Make dark theme apply to email view not just email list
The dark theme only applies to the email message list currently. The email being viewed retains a light theme. The theme setting should apply universally ie. to both email message list and email message view.

GUI of message layout bottom
Go to Settings-> message layout and select bottom.
The intention is to view mail content. If we see the GUI from the top everything is so specious there are hardly few lines to view in the bottom view. If we avoid being specious we can solve it. -

Here are some ideas. There are holiday and seasonal themes that lift our spirits. In addition to that, floral, video, sunset, animals, sports, love, animated, etc. We want a different variety of themes where we can choose our favorite theme each month.

New Themes
Years ago, Yahoo Mail had themes that looked nice and worked well. You had many choices. Today's Yahoo Mail has themes that do not look good or work well on the web. Please consider offering new and updated themes OR allow users to upload their own such as Gmail does.

I miss the yahoo mail Olympic theme every Olympic season. Every Olympic season there was a new Olympic background theme to each hosting country to the summer and winter games. I love to get into the spirit of the games by changing the background of my yahoo mail theme to the Olympics seasons every 2 years.

Let us block offensively ugly ads to the right of email texts
There is a picture of a shirtless man with ugly body fat around his middle. To flout his offensive beer belly he wears suspenders to underscore the sight of his blimptitude. If I had to live in that kind of a body I would want to be euthanized because life looking like him could never be worth living. Showing it is more aggressive an act of indecent exposure than showing a ******* twirling his fleshy machinery at peoples' families.

You should have a light tan as an available background color. Easy on the eyes.
All your options are heavy and bright. Even the gray is dark. A light tan would be a good option for those like me, who spend a lot of time on line.
