here is my issue last year my ex girlfriend put a account key pass on my old phone which at this time i no longer have that phone or phone number i am trying to get in my old email account i talked to one of those get human people how the **** am i suppose to remember what i put on my old email account profile this suck because i need to get a couple of things off of there then i am going to delete that account and keep my current one so if you have any ideas…

Not an e-mail issue but, feedback none the less. When viewing comments now, pop ads now appear, blocking ability to read. Fix it.

Please try the following:
1. clear browser cache and cookies
2. disable ad-blocker
3. update browser or make sure you have the latest version
4. try a different browser. -

For security reasons, it isn’t possible to update or change the date of birth listed on your Yahoo account, even if you entered it incorrectly when you first registered your account. You’ll need to open a new account if you’d like your account to reflect your accurate info.

Why you would need to prove you're not robot, from a private verified location for a long ttime, used only for one id..? And, that too on a very first try with one id..??

So you cannot get ANY assistance from Yahoo now without paying them money?? No thank you. I cannot get into my email, which I need to be able to do to access my bank account. You want to take money from me just to talk to someone. I've tried to send an email or contact customer service any other way but I am unable to do so unless I sign up for the pro service. Absolutely absurd! Save yourself the trouble and switch to gmail.
They close out every complaint about this as "reviewed" and I have seen no solutions…

Since Yahoo doesn’t operate or maintain any groups, you’ll want to email the group’s moderator or owner with any questions.

limit login by location
Limit login by location. I keep getting emails from people all over trying to login to my email. Cant do anything about it. Make it so only in my current location I can login, otherwise completely blocked unless I activate it.

If you received a verification code but didn’t create an account or make security changes, then someone else mistyped their number and accidentally used yours. Don’t worry, they won’t be able to move forward with your mobile number because they don’t have possession of your phone to get the verification code.

Item hard to delete from the moblie.

When i delete the mail from the desktop it is deleted from the both desktop as well as but when i deleted from mobile it is deleted from the mobile but it is not deleted from the desktop.

Should be notified if logging in happened at a new place/device.
Suggestion for security: Send notification if logging in happened in a place or device other than the regular ones.

Hello there. The option to edit your birth date is not available. You can always register a new account at mail.yahoo.com and make sure to add your correct information to it.

I read your new terms, and I am so disappointed. I will be moving all of my email services away from Yahoo because you say you will now be going through all of my emails on all of my devices. If you don't change this policy, you will go bankrupt soon... idiots.

no phone
Driving me nuts! LOCKING ME OUT OF MY E-MAILS, asking me for a mobile phone number, 'so that you can recover your account', It asks me to add a number to continue. There is no option to skip this.
i DO NOT HAVE A PHONE, I DO NOT WANT ONE.
i CANNOT GET TO MY E-MAILS BECAUSE THE SYSTEM IS TRYING TO FORCE ME TO GIVE A NUMBER THAT I DO NOT HAVE. 'dummy' numbers do not work, 'old/alternative' numbers does not work as it says its sent a 'verification code' to the number THAT i DO NOT HAVE ACCESS…If you added an alternate email address to your Yahoo address, you can use a desktop computer to send the Account Key to it. Hello there. If you are using an email client such as Outlook, Mac Mail, Windows Mail, please check its settings. We don’t manage how the IMAP client handles these messages.

This is ridiculous. Why can a person not use their lap top to access email? I obviously haven't tried this in awhile but everytime I attempt to log in, I am rerouted to ATT? I do not use ATT. I understand you merged but why would you not make it possible to login using any electronics using a yahoo email account? This is not only a complete inconvenience but a completely unnecessary one unless you are just wanting your users to move to a completely different company. Do not delete accounts that are still in use,even if they haven't been used for years.
My account was deleted,now i can't sign in on any platform it was used for.
