blocking ips
I really only use my yahoo email account for times when I need to give an email to access a service or register a product. Most of this is because yahoo has never been as good as gmail for me at reducing spam. I understand you wish to provide some incentive to get people to pay, but it seems like allowing me to manually block an domain name and ip address in terms of emails would help yahoo and me. improve mail
will you please give back the old mail.everytime I delete an e-mail 2or3 disappear. This mail is slower than sh*t,it scrolls haphazardly and takes me all day to delete stuff. Please bring back the old mail. This old mail didn't work before and it doesn't work now.

I have been a (happy) Yahoo mail user for 20 years, then 3 weeks ago, my Yahoo mail went crazy, logging me out of my accounts, making me wait an hour to attempt to sign in again, I have changed passwords so many times. Maybe it's my own fault. Maybe I am doing something wrong (after 20 years of not doing something wrong). Ads. no doubt are necessary for any commercial organisation to survive or thrive. But they should not become a nuisance and iritation. They block the content and when we delete ithem, they reappearprear in no time
I woudl like to mention the ad. of Macafe hrere..Ma. A cafe should realise that such methods adopted to attract subscriberswill have a negavive impact and in fact defeat the very purpose. You used to have an option to block all senders of spam which now seems to have disappeared, please put this feature back.
Just put the block senders and all future emails feature back in.
If there is a limit on how many email addresses can be blocked then remove that limit as there will always be another spam email address turning up -
To roll out ymail by squeezing out view of my email is ugly. If you want ad space, format the email to fit. not gaining my biz like that

Emails from years ago have been deleted because I didn't access my account in the last 12 months. I received NO warning for this in my backup email address. Admittedly, it's been many years since I touched my Yahoo email, but I'm extremely disappointed that I couldn't save some precious memories. For people who were using their Yahoo email for business, the consequences could be a lot worse. Do better, Yahoo.

The attach GIF option is no longer available.
For years I've had regular Yahoo mail with access to the Attach GIF option with numerous GIFs to choose from. As of 10/16/23 this option disappeared. Please fix.

More weekly password change
The issue in https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/600772-new-mail/suggestions/47493353-stop-weekly-password-change persists.
I've disabled K-9 mail - and still Thunderbird gets de-authenticated and demands that "because accounts like yours are targeted" and/or "unusual activity detected". I must again change my password. And then I get told to enable 2FA -- or "remind me later". No option to NOT enable 2FA. Which I was happy to do - until I realized that enabling it is what started this downward slide.
This is really, really painful. As noted previously, this is not increasing my security. And not telling me WHAT THE ISSUE IS, doesn't get it fixed. Continually changing…

I think you are blocking Zoom invites. Please stop!
I sign up to a number of webinars, but I never get the Zoom invite in my ymail email. If I use a different (gmail!) address it works just fine. I think my Ymail account may have become obsolete. Gmail here I come.

Ridiculous recaptcha
Your recaptcha is ridiculous. I had to go through at least 9 screens to access my email today. Of course, I also had to approve my sign-in with a mobile phone alert, as well. Security should not require both of those in addition to a password. I am ready to switch completely to gmail - after using yahoo for decades.
