There's no way to navigate back to a stock page from the large-chart page. The watchlist is on the right, but those links open only large-chart pages.

Need a save config button SO WE CHOOSE when to save our default chart. Don't save every change in the chart for the next time! Terrible!!! Switch to BigCharts. Time to fire your chart builders.

Yahoo should simply be embarassed at the chart system. It's garbage. Throw the code away and start over from scratch.

Chart events not showing up. Earnings is the single most important chart marker to have. How a stock performs on a chart is largely driven by past or upcoming earnings. Why is this marker not able to be added when all of the useless technical fluff indicators are?

I have long used Yahoo charts to view groups of funds or stocks by copy paste. E.g., I paste
xlv,iyh,ihf,ihi,ihe
into the compare window, hit enter and get a view of all these funds in a few quick clicks. I do this for a long list of funds and stocks.
I can't do this now. Grrrr

Report the % change in a given timeframe (e.g. YTD, 1 year) BY DEFAULT. Currently, you must hover the mouse over the last price to see the % change.

Also, when you're comparing two or more assets, you should be able to see the % change for EACH asset at any point in time. This allows you to compare the assets over time by % change.

Overall, your new charting system is vastly inferior to your old one, which worked quite well. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Add the description of the stock or mutual fund right under the Symbol as before. Otherwise it takes time to identify what the Symbol represents.

Make full use of the available screen space as before. Chart is too narrow.

While researching, say, a Canadian mutual fund company named Mawer. Their funds are always sold with a numeric code, eg MAW102.
Searches on the code should find the fund
Instead the french/english descriptions are used which is ok but it seems to have strange old data, some price histories end in 2015 while the fund is most definitely still there.

Please add a line type option like hashed or dashed - less difficult to distinguish than colors, and less intrusive than thickness

When you build a chart with more than one symbol, it's very hard for someone like me, a colorblind person, to know which line represents which symbol. Ideally, if I hover over a specific line, the symbol/box in the top left corner will highlight, bold, somehow differentiate itself, so I know which symbol's performance I'm 'touching.' Very simple solution that will help ALL colorblind people.

Looking at a chart with "area" background the dark green color makes it hard to see some comparison colors. Light gray background better.
