  2. Divide security by another on a chart

It would be very useful to add feature to divide one security by another to see its relative performance. This is a standard feature on most charting programmes like bloomberg/reuters and hopefully easy to do. many thanks

  3. Percentage change between two points on the chart

Most charting programmes have a very useful feature, to calculate percentage changes between two points by simply drawing a line between them. Can you pls add this?

  4. The Yahoo stock, ETF and mutual fund charts have some major defects. They are extremely difficult to get it properly positioned on the page.

The Yahoo financial data chart on Yahoo is one of the worst. It jumps off the screen, and it can never be positioned properly on the page. For investors checking their investments, a cumulative graph is necessary in addition to the price graph. Morningstar gives an excellent graph. The ETrade website has a good cumulative graph with overlapping price graph. Reuters financial also has an excellent cumulative graph.

  5. I would like to be able to roll the charts up and down as well as back and forth.

The charts cannot be rolled up and down. If I expand the charts to better be able to identify the candles, it disappears below the bottom of the chart and cannot be seen because I cannot roll the chart up. I would like to be able the roll the charts up and down in each window as well as back and forth.

  7. I'd like to see the ending close of yesterday's Dow to compare with the current day's graph on the chart itself, not from a dropdown menu.

Charts are lacking the horizontal line indicating the previous day's closing value as it was on the previous version. Please include this. thank you.

  8. On full screen chart page need link new window/tab for the secuity

    Hello Y!Finance,
First off, I like the new charting tools. Thank you!
This is for the full page charts. I like having the collapsible security list on the right. That makes it very easy to view different symbols quickly.
My idea is to have the security name in the upper left be a link to a new window/tab that displays the security's quote summary page (to the background if possible). That way I can quickly scan 20 securities, look at the charts, identify the ones I want to look into further. When done with the scan, I now have 4…

  12. Missing are direct links to jump to the basic view of the companies on the chart.

Not really a "new" feature. Just an old one thoughtlessly taken away:
Add direct links to jump to the basic view of the companies on the chart.

  16. For list of stocks - I would love to have a YTD, 1 mo, 1 yr, etc button I can press and the whole list is started with that purchase price

Let's say I have a list of 20 stocks. I want to know the YTD or 1 month or 1 year, 2 year, etc gain. There is no way to do it except looking up every stock and plugging in that price as the purchase price. I should be able to press a button and instantly have the whole list seeded with a YTD purchase price, (or 1 year, etc). If you wanted to be super cool you would allow me to even pick individual stocks on the list to be seeded with YTD starting price.

  18. I kind of like the charts, would like the stats data @ the bottom (PE, ROE, Market Cap, Dividend, etc,)

I do kinda like the charts, they could be better but they are ok. what I miss now is the data that used to be available at the bottom of the screen, such as PE, ROE, Market Cap, Dividend, etc, that kind of stuff. It would be nice to scroll down and be able to see that stuff at a glance without having to look elsewhere for it.

  19. Want to: view stocks in a watchlist by pressing space bar instead of "enter", graph in all color with 3 thickness, see % chg w/click + drag

The old chart work better for me. I used the TC2000 for over 20 years. They have all the function a stock trader want. Check it out.

Be able to view stocks in a watch list by pressing a space bar instead of enter a symbol every time. Be able to graph in all color with 3 thickness. Be able to see percent change in certain time frame by click and drag the mouse.
