we need dark line to separate volume and price chart
Need to have dark line to separate volume and price chart and we also need to have slightly visible gray horizontal line for the price interval. Please add slightly visible vertical line for each year as well.
All of these will make the chart a lot easier to read and more beautiful -

count down for market open and close needed
I miss seeing the notation indicating when the marker was open and close, including the count down.

Add the color bars above the 'indicators' as you had in the original charts

The duration controls on the new chart should be expanded greatly.
Love the new chart 9/2/2017. Only thing I'd change are the duration controls. Simply add more. Or allow us to setup the controls that we want to use. My chart has radio buttons for the following time frames:
5-min intraday line :
1,2 or 4 hours.
1,2,3,4,5,10,15,20,25,30,40 or 50 days.EOD line:
1,2,3,4,6,9,12,15 or 18 months.
1,2,3,4,5 or 10 years.You have YTD. Why?

Bring back the old chart or at least allow me to exit beta - which does not work!
The old financial chart was easier to read.
With 7 stocks up I could color & change the width of lines... now only color is available and all stock indicators are on the left, taking up space on the chart. The previous chart had stock indicators up above the chart and were easier to read and out of the way that the chart should have.
Stocks I am following are no longer indicated by stock abbreviations but now only displayed by the first letter and nothing else. -
Charts using up too much memory in browsers
Apparently, yahoo finance is using up too much memory in the browsers I have tried using it, which are Firefox and Edge. It pretty much is becoming unreliable as lately the charts are not being able to load or display inaccurate data. It is a pity, because yahoo finance used to be an excellent tool and is no more.

Be able to select indicators and make them standard for all charts for me
It is cumbersome to add the indicators I like, everytime I log in or change symbol. Should be able to setup the indicators and call them my default set

Start chart without the Plots name overlay
Start chart without the overlay. Only show overlay when you click on the blue triangle icon, instead of having to click every time you start a chart to remove the overlay as it is distracting.

'settings' for each indicator obstruct the chart
When several indicators are added to a chart, the inset that indicates it is added obstructs the chart. Can you add a toggle for turning off all of the little names?

Value of Indicators unknown while crosshair is on candlestick
The Dynamic tooltip doesn't show the below info.
The "Plot" pulldown at the top of the chart also doesn't show these values.
The "Floating tooltip" window is clunky...and if we don't use it we can't see the value of the indicators and analysis on the chart.
For example, the instantaneous RSI value only appear for the last value. When the crosshair is hovered over previous candles, the RSI value is nowhere to be seen. This also applies to Moving averages, MACD, VWAP, etc... -
New charts have issues
Ergonomically horrible. Moving the recent viewed screen to the left side is wrong. Your eyes have to go to far end of the screen to find the identifier and then back to the right to see the price. When the recently viewed strip was on the right it was in the "right" place. There are countless other things that are not as good as the old charts. Much prefer you bring that back. Changing something just to change is isn't necessarily a good idea. The cursor used to just hit on the top of whatever candle it was on and…

How do you go from Bad to Worse? Ask Yahoo Finance!
You've been asking me for about 5 years to "Buy" Yahoo +. I've considered it a few times however, with todays "new" format, not sure I'll even use the free version anymore. Come on YF! You CAN do better! A SERIOUSLY?

The Original Chart is perfect. That's why I am still with Yahoo, rather than going to Google
The Original Chart is perfect. That's why I stay with Yahoo and not going to Google Finance. Also, there are performance issue with the new chart.
