Get rid of the ads, and focus on real news, not fashion, sports, gossip. Yahoo is currently looking more similar to a tabloid rag.
Get rid of the ads, and focus on real news, not fashion, sports, gossip. Yahoo is currently looking more similar to a tabloid rag. Remove the non newsworthy items, which are 90% of your current content. You must have a bunch of puberty aged staff deciding what content to publish.

X-ing out articles we don't want to see...
Yahoo, wouldn't it be cool if we could X out an article on the homepage like we used to with advertisements. For example, say we're tied of seeing the same Kardashian article over and over, we could X it out and then tell you we found it offensive, irrelevant, repetitive or just not interested. You stopped it for the ads but it may prove more relevant to the articles.

Quit the sponsored ads
The mobile site has entirely TOO MANY sponsored ads that take over the website. I counted 63 today! Most are repeat ads for the same products. It's annoying and makes me want to quit using Yahoo! I understand why people are looking for other news sources. Yahoo has sold itself to the advertising gods & sacrificed user friendliness in the process. Also, the stupid click bait articles like Cheat Sheet are ruining the experience. Furthermore, the subscriber stories are ludicrous! Why would we pay to read another paragraph of a story when we can easily find another news story or…

Settings to turn off auto play videos
Is there a way to turn off the videos that automatically play as I scroll through my news feed? It turns off the podcast or news I'm listening to. I want the choice whether to play a video even if it is cute dogs. This just started happening again, I don't know if it's a setting on my side or it was turned back on on your end. Thanks

Please remove Vivid Seats from advertisements! They are a scam company and have scammed many people.
Please remove Vivid Seat from your advertising. They are a scam company they does not get your tickets to you, or willing to give your moneyback. The reason I used this company was because they popped up as one of the top advertisements on your site. Please investigate them and do the right thing.

Please stop the video ads after I scroll by them. Obwviously if we scrolled past the first ad we r not interested. Does yahoo have a deal with cell providers to use data so we can be billed more?? Seems a bit fishy to me. Maybe this should be investigated. Costs the everyday person $$$ to see ads we weren’t interested in in the first place. Stop just trying to bring in more and more revenue for the shareholder and pretend like u give a **** about costing people $ for unwanted videos. And I’m not interested in some bs…

Expanding ads
I hate clicking on an article, starting to read, and then finding the next paragraph half missing because some extraneous, or irrelevant ad expands and covers up the article with no "X" in the corner. I have to then exit and go back several times to see bits and pieces of that article before it expands again. I'm not clicking to shop ads, I am reading an article! Trying to anyway. Thank you.

Yahoo is my family default page and there is a tom ford fashion article showing ******. Not acceptable.
Don't show nipples on the main page people use as a default landing page for their family. (Tom Ford fashion article)

Shorter ads
The video ads should be 15 seconds or less. When I see that an ad is 30 seconds I immediately leave the site and look for the video elsewhere.

need better ad feedback that allows direct responses to yahoo from the ad itself.
There should be a feedback link somewhere on all ads. Currently Yahoo is running ads for a "fuel filter" that is really just a tiny modification away from being an illegal firearm silencer.
