Iowa' s derecho on 8/10
Hi! Would Yahoo News please consider a news story about the heavy wind (derecho) that went thru Iowa on 8/10? Nearly a Cat 3 Hurricane!! Please help us! Cedar Rapids is mostly without power still. 2nd largest city in Iowa. Facebook msg Ashton Kutcher. He's a good Iowa boy.

Would it kill you to post more science articles?
Whenever I go to the science section, it’s almost always full of weeks old articles. There’s so many interesting findings and research going on, and I don’t understand why it isn’t posted more.

Christian articles
I have noticed in the past year or so that yahoo has started posting articles specifically associated with the Christian Faith such as “ bible verses that will help you get through the day.” Talk about selective journalism news feeds! Either show articles about all religions or show none. It’s passive discrimination to only show/allow articles promoting one religion.

Change the title of article to get rid of sexist preconceptions
There is an Article titled "Olympic Great Bode Miller Delivers his Twin Boys after Midwife didn't make it in Time for Birth." This title reflects underlying sexism and as Yahoo is inclusive and sensitive it should be changed to read "Professional Volleyball Star Morgan Miller delivers Twin Boys assisted only by her Olympic Great Husband Bode and His Mother" Lets start recognizing women for their acheivments instead of highlighting their husbands inappropriately!

I have been on Yahoo since the late 90s. You are AOL 2.0 which is very ironic. I am literally gonna painstakingly transfer everything to Google. I leave a clean comment that is well within the official rules for comments, but which happens to go against the norm and POOF! Gone. This has happened alot recently. Stop showing graphic pics for example of disfigured people from botched surgeries, etc...in your headlines...warn people so they can decide if they want to click/view it within the article.

Have a block all comments option in our accounts
Too many robots, trolls, and scammers in the comment section. Too much trash and I really rather just turn off all comments. Since I doubt Yahoo will do this, we need the option of blocking comments to all stories.
