I hate the new email. I want my old contact list back. I am ready to leave yahoo mail after over 20 years. Why can't you leave things alone? This new format sticks!!!!!!!!

The new email buffers forever, has delayed reactions when clicking on a box to delete or read an email. It seems to get slower.
I am having great difficulty attaching documents to the new email format. I work for a university and it is imperative that I can send my students documents. Why is this new version of email so frustrating, confusing, and difficult to use. Why do have to change the format???

Why does New Yahoo Mail add extra line breaks in the text of received emails ?
Why does the New Yahoo Mail add extra line breaks &/or spacing between lines in the text of received emails ? This didn't happen before in old YMail.
There is also no horizontal bar separating all the email replies.

forward as attachment
Classic mail had the ability to forward emails as an attachment, which is a feature I used regularly for various things. The new mail seems to have eliminated this feature completely. This is a standard feature in pretty much every other email program out there. Please add it back in.

changing the size of font
Suddenly Yahoo has started resizing my font in the middle of a standard email. Please stop that.

when using plain text formatting, preserve line ends and spaces/tabs of pasted text
I am forced by certain email lists to send emails in plain text.
If I compose my email text in some other application (e.g. a proper text editor) and paste it into a yahoo mail message that is formatted as plain text, I find that the pasted text is stripped of all line end sequences, tabs, and spaces.
This is a BUG!
Alternatively, if I have a rich text format email, paste in my text, it looks fine at that point, but if I then convert the message in yahoo mail to plain text format, it now preserves most stuff…

Fix settings so my font size setting works
The settings for font size don't work. I have it set to Medium but my outgoing mail defaults to Tiny. Please fix it!

The title line popup is TOO BIG and lingers even when we start typing.
Don't let the signature popup be so HUGE!! It covers up the message.

I can't delete signature blocks anymore with this horrible "new mail"
I used to be able to forward a message and delete certain images like signature blocks but now I can no longer delete them. They no longer appear as one whole with an "X" in the upper right corner allowing me to delete it.... this is frustrating me so much. Since EVERYONE hates this new mail, why doesn't Yahoo just allow us to switch back to Classic? I don't understand the line of thought. Infuriate customers just for fun?

How to close attachment preview before sending out the message?
I would truly appreciate if you could prompt me how to close the preview of the attachment in the new format before sending out the message. Apparently there is no easily accessible way to do it.
I am absolutely fed up with all the problems this new format renders. It must have been designed by people who do not use the computer for any other purposes than programming and who do not actually know why users need certain functionalities and which of them are essential.
Also, why is my name replaced with the childish "me"? Some years ago users already…

The message body disappears
The message body disappears in the new format when replying to messages while using the list format. Please stop rolling out changes without fully testing them. As much as I don't like Gmail, I may have to learn to like it. The "New" email format is not fully functional.

STOP double spacing a poem!! How do I go back to single lines???
Do NOT double space lines in the message box of a message!! I need single spaced lines even in a poem!

address book
I cannot find my address book anywhere in the new mail. I'm not going to go into the whole "I hate the new mail" because I think you've figured our this was a flop - but not being able to see, or correct addresses in my address book is frustrating as all get out. I don't always remember who all I want to send an email to - or what their address is. For the love of heaven - this should be fixable.

Keep up with drafts
For some reason, even if I don't complete a draft and save it, when I finish writing the note, I'll have 2-3 versions of the message that do not disappear when I SEND. They sit there, ready to pop up and look like I forgot to SEND the first message. Once I sent a message 3 times until
I realized what was happening. Please - when we SEND, all drafts should disappear. The final message will be in the SENT mail.275th ranked -

When replying in the new version, the information from the original message is missing (To/From/Date/Subject). There is no separation between my reply and the original message. Please bring it back or offer options.
