why do all yahoo links open new window?
I know that email is "important", but why can't I open Yahoo from my Yahoo Mail without a new window opening. I am done with email, I want to go read the sports news, why must a new window open?
If I want to open a new window, I can open a new window myself.You forced me into this new system. Now you are making it inconvenient to even use.
You do realize that other companies allow me to open my Yahoo mail within their email, right? I've never done that because I like to keep my things separate.…421st ranked -
What is all this stuff clogging up my email
Unread. Starred. Archive. Views.
I know what is unread because folders have a (4) beside them. I don't need a folder showing them to me.
I know what is starred because the star is highlighted in a folder list. If it is so important that I need it kept separately, let me put it in a separate save folder.
Why archive an email when it can be deleted or simply moved into a self created folder.
Views? Come one. What's more important, my own personally created folders to move/save stuff, or your automatically created lists.421st ranked -
POP/SMTP Mail Check
I use Outlook 365 to read my Yahoo Mail. I also check Yahoo mail arriving on my wife's user ID. POP/SMTP is used to retrieve and send mail.
Of the three yahoo IDs I check, one of them gives recurrent problems by giving the following error message : Task 'Yahoo - Receiving' reported error (0x80042104) : 'Your email server does not have the features required to allow messages to be left on the server'
Interesting, the other two IDs do not have this issue.

I would like to add comments to the SUBJECT line or a displayable line
I would like to add comments to the SUBJECT line or a displayable line. For instance I get notifications that a package has shipped. I would like to add the tracking number. Then when I have receive notification that a package has been received, I can match it to the sender. There are other times I would find this useful.

Calendar - Not accepting meeting invites from Outlook. Email just sits and spins does nothing
Email not showing / accepting meeting invites. They are showing up in the calendar in what I assume is a tentative state as I have not been able to accept them via email and they do not have the same graphical characteristics as other appointments

Give the option of hiding folders in the left hand column
Please give us the option of hiding folders in the list on the left side of the page. Specifically, Unread and Starred have no use for me and just take up space. Thanks.

I need to know how to change my password to one I can remember! It took me half-hour to log on.

o I have a cell phone and a land-line but NO subscription to TEXTING because I believe that technology is TOTALLY WORTHLESS! Any human can speak 300 words per minute. NO ONE can type text that fast ... especially on a tiny "smart phone" FLAT screen "keyboard" with ZERO tactile feedback. "Touch typing" is therefore IMPOSSIBLE! You should ALWAYS allow verification by BOTH text and VOICE! (If you do not then you are MORONS!) People sometimes forget or lose passwords. New Yahoo Suggestion
Okay, like everyone else... I totally hate the "new," but NOT improved look. However, since the option to use the more attractive and sophisticated Classic look has been eliminated; and, we're no-doubt stuck with this ugly format... how about adding more color schemes and designs to the Theme selection menu option. Because, what you have, right now, looks like something that would appeal more to a 7-year-old child than to an adult. Come on, Yahoo... you can do better than this!

Yahoo does not recognize my bellsouth emails......WTH??
What is going on with the bellsouth emails? I have had mine for 15 yrs, now you do not recognize it at all ? AT&T lets me log in under them. Get it fixed, thank you

I cannot even find my usual TOOL box. What have you done to the really practical old layout, and WHY ?
The old email enabled me to go from my email to the Web connection. Now it is not possible. Why ? And Yahoo wants to charge me EXTRA $ 15 (New $ 34.95) for add free email account.
I am looking for a new provider. This is the worst email format I have ever seen, this new Yahoo Pro Mail. What sort of a Pro would enjoy this child designed set up ?
