With the intend of making the comments more civil you reject fairly basic comments which honestly do not offend people. At the same time, you have allowed commentors to directly attack and insult me personally as well as others. That is hardly civil. You are triggered by some obvious key words but most commentors know how to get around those with clever spelling or phrasing your analyzer doesn't pick up. So fundamentally you are annoying your loyal readers without accomplishing your goal.

I just posted about Biden and his lack of action on border control, and I got like 7 thumbs up and some comments. Whenever I went back to view comments it said post was deleted. It violated zero terms other than having a different view point than the writer. Yahoo is constantly shutting down the exchange of ideas and speech. Been using yahoo since I was a child but I'm about to move along.

The algorithm yahoo uses allows disgusting anti human comments and when I honestly try to state actual facts I get blocked. Someone told me they would be happy if my children died in the comment section of an article. I was blocked trying to reply “you are not a good person” if that’s how you want it to go fine but just say so. Everyone knows yahoo is for scum people

So saying he as a hurt person never hurts people is not entirely accurate. Also, I thought comedians like Chappelle believed everyone and everything is fair game when it comes to comedy.

I responded to a post with: “yes interesting” without quotes or punctuation. It was not allowed because it was offensive? I agreed with the post- the yes, and my feedback that it was interesting. The censorship has gotten insane. The problem is that machines are doing it, not a sensible person. I was very supportive when you halted comments. But there is still constant vitriol in the comments and the things you will not allow are mind-boggling. There will and should be dissenting opinions. You shouldn’t so severely censor posts in a way that appears to be arbitrary.
