Please stop making sign in more complicated. Other apps work witout the added complication.
Your second level security sending something to my phone rarely works out here in the rurals. I usually have to "try another way" which texted me numbers. Not terrible, but now you want letters that don't even make a word. I'll be trying to remove the extra protection now. It takes way to long to access mail now. Please go back to simple. You know another program I just used generated a scrambled password, and had my computer remember it. Super simple...and it worked.

How to Change Password Instructions
I have followed your instructions to no avail. No where under Account Security, Manage Accounts or EVERY OTHER choice can I find a box or title that says Chang Your Password! Guess I'll need to create an all new account to change my password. :(

Sending SMTP email says my password is wrong but it isn't.
Why do I keep getting errors since Verizon took over? When I try to send email using Thunderbird it says my password is wrong when it isn't. I use a password manager to manage my passwords and I can login.
I constantly get errors saying my email violates a Verizon policy. It doesn't. Copy and paste the same content to a new email and is would be sent okay.
But now I can no longer send or receive email using Thunderbird. Sending says my password is wrong. Receiving says that the server is not available.
What on earth is going…

from 2 weeks I have no access by pop3 to Yahoo ... error =x800CCC90 ....
from 2 weeks I have no access by pop3 to Yahoo ... error =x800CCC90 .... I changed the password then I lost acces to yahoo mail from my phone too, by IMAP ... nooo goood its no first time ... no support from Yahoo staff ( only by phone 6€ ... its joke) ...

For one when we have a issue with signing in and ring up your representatives can do something about it
Maybe have your reps be able to resolve your issue and not just say ring back in 24 hours and not give you a answer why that will be any different

Fix or Provide the Change Password Option
As neither does my mobile phone app yahoo mail have the option of change password nor does my PC Browsers as described for
Change your password'
From a desktop or mobile web browser:Sign in to the Yahoo Account security page.
Click Change password.
Enter a new password.
Click Continue.It would be nice to provide a phone number as well. I use the Two Step Sign In Process, only I AM NOT LOCKED OUT OF MY ACCOUNT.

Make it easier to sign on.
Any easier way would be good..... or, provide a detailed list of instruction on HOW TO SIGN ON, LOG ON, etc etc

How can i be forced to do something on my personal account!
It's BS I can be forced to change my password for no reason! I have not been made aware of any sign in issues! I have another email address as well as phone number to verify sign ins!

Email recovery help other than online help.
Need customer service hotline for help that can not be resolved on line. I would like to recover my pervious email account. Only yahoo customer service personnel. No computer repair person or company please.

I have an old email account with you that hasn't been active for some time and you make it impossible to open old email so I can delete it
I am a 61 year old disabled senior citizen. My experience with Yahoo retrieving a password Has been so messed up that you all need to make this an easier process. Why do you all have to make this such a terrible experience. It cant be that hard. Google does not do this

I have 2 Yahoo emails I use frequently and you keep making me change passwords.
Once I change a password it is not recognized by Yahoo.
