I like Basic email. Don't need the Fancy stuff
I like Basic email. What I did NOT like ,is being FORCED to watch stupid VIDEOS in my mail area. I have A Yahoo Home page so I can see all the news I want,Yet You force this on us. Also I greatly DISLIKE you FORCING us to buy an add blocker when my computer comes with these addon's. If this keeps up I WILL GO TO GMAIL . Let me keep BASIC EMAIL or leave me alone with my use of an add blocker!!! You pop that up and it stops me from completing what I want to do!

Stop asking me if I want to upgrade. I DON'T. Why do I have to say so EVERY TIME?
Every single time I log in in asks me if I want to upgrade. Basic mail is okay by me, so the answer is no, and was no the first dozen times you asked, and it will always be NO.

Go back to the way it was, this is horrible! When I scroll down to view older emails, they are not even showing, only a big blank space.
Where did the magnifying glass go on each email to pull up all similar emails? Why don't you let people continue using the old format? This really is for the Birds!!!

Stop pushing your adds, changes, contracts, restrictions, modifications and policies (update/changes). reasons why we don't click agree!
you write out pages upon pages of policy changes and if we want to use it you want us to click agree, after months of not agreeing and ether clicking x or clicking agree latter you pushing through automatic changes. I hate the new Yahoo Mail...
Everything worked smoothly in the previous version of Yahoo Mail so why do you want to change it? I've been using your service for at least 20 years and was quite happy with your interface. If you're seriously moving to this new version of your product I'm heading over to Gmail.

If It Ain't Broke Don't Fix It.
I have used Yahoo for years and finally found myself having to upgrade to the new version of Yahoo to get away from all the advertisements. After switching to the new mail my text fonts and signature fonts would always be different sizes. I contacted tech support only to be told to reset my fonts which failed to resolve the issue. I switched back to Basic Mail and things were working fine until a few days ago when I noticed that the mail icon in the upper right corner had a number 30 appear indicating I had 30 messages but…

my email addresses don't replicate anymore-I can't remember them all---going to contacts is a waste of time-and it jumps from what I am typing to the address line!

Yahoo used to open the email header with a right click on the unopened message so one could see the real sender address. Your sister AOL still allows this very useful & important feature. It helps avoid spam, phishing, theft, etc.

Unfortunately, I lost several old e-mails that I had in my old yahoo e-mail that I had been saving. What can I do to retrieve them?
In your zeal to continue change for the sake of change, you managed to eliminate any old e-mails that I was saving for research purposes. Why? Why is it necessary to break something that is working. Shameful! Now looking for another e-mail.

Please reject the horrific American Cancer Society donation solicitation ads
There is something uniquely perverse in the American Cancer Society placing full-face, heads bald from chemotherapy individuals in email ads, especially given the pandemic; especially given that for the billions and trillions of dollars sent to the ACS, individuals should't be going bald from chemotherapy. I am disgusted by this exploitive profiteering on the part of the ACS. And, cancer survivors do not need these triggers of trauma.
