I'm not going to whitelist you in adblocker. If you keep dropping features and making it harder to use, I'll switch to GMail.
Alienating customers is a bad idea. You have too many ads so I put on adblocker. Now you are cutting features and functionality. Keep it up and I'll switch to GMail.

I would even accept a few ads BUT the ones you display jump around and are most unpleasant. They hurt my eyes!

I went back to Basic mail, the adblocker is on but it doesn't do anything for the videos running on the spam and trash pages so Yahoo is full of B*S*. On top of that, since going back to basic mail the spam folder is full every day and I have carefully copied and blocked address of spammers but they keep letting them through. Robo calls have dropped off and spammers have returned.

I'm already in the process of moving everything to gmail as it is. They keep trying to do this. Every other email service doesn't do this, so **** yahoo. There's a reason they're going out of business, this doesn't help.

I agree with these comments! I used to love Yahoo.now not so much!

Since 2009 I have never have to whitelist my AdBlocker for Yahoo! Why now? Either Yahoo isn't doing so good financially or they want to see what you do online. Not me!

This is my feeling exactly. I am tired of all this ad blocking popup and will be closing my yahoo account in the near future

I have an adblocker, live with it. I've had an Yahoo account since 2000 and when the computer guy comes over I think I need to look into another service. The new email is most annoying. I agree with all of the comments listed.

Add me to the list. They force me to basic mail, which doesn't work right, ever. I delete emails and am immediately taken to the inbox, where the emails I just deleted still sit, undeleted. I can no longer use bold, etc. I can no longer paste a photo into the body of the email. I can no longer delete an email in the body of one I'm replying to. Oh and speaking of deleting emails, several times out of the blue a popup asks if I really want to delete ALL the messages in my inbox. When I didn't ASK to delete them. It's **** and I too have my new Gmail account set up, just a matter of transferring everything over. Oh and on the subject of comments, why do I have to SIGN IN to write a comment when I'm ALREADY signed in to my account? Cripes.

I am already switching to Gmail. Most everything is switched over now--except for the garbage emails I do not wish to follow me in my move. I have had my yahoo address for more than 25 years. I will not, however, put up with a page full of ads in my email. Bottom line, Yahoo lost a looong time customer. Good luck with your business model!

I am angry about your constant ads...I pay money to block them. You have screwed up a good mail program and I am going to drop both of my Yahoo mail accounts (one is a charity) and go with Gmail. I am so put out with Yahoo that I am also making Google my default browser.

No, I'm NOT going to pay you for a decent working email service. Your basic email is anything but and if changes are not soon made, I have other choices I will gladly make, even though it will come with some inconvience.

I am so disappointed in your service, especially when everyone needs their email now. Your advertisements should not affect the quality your customers deserve - shame on you!! I think I have had about enough of Yahoo hackers, spam, and their ****** policies!

If you keep dropping me into your Basic E-Mail as quid pro quo for allowing you to litter my pages with ads I'll switch to Gmail ASAP.

Return my account the way it was or i will start moving everything i have from yahoo. I WILL NOT be forced to watch ads it is my right to avoid them an it IS NOT your right to force them on me. I hope you will fix this because it will be annoying to have to switch alot of accounts but i will if your force my hand.

Well, bye bye yahoo... I have been a user since 2002. Now that I cannot even delete text in a message I want to forward (you blocked the feature in basic mail), I am switching with all the important e-mails to my gmail account. I lately left a comment here saying how absolutely unprofessional the move to block people with ad-block is on your part. My comment has been removed by you. I will be happy to see you go bankrupt soon as your users will gradually leave you just as I do now.

I find it hugely annoying that I have to select basic mail each and everytime I want to open an email rather than it being a permanent setting. I am not going to white list you, Yahoo. You are well on the way to losing me.
