I UNBLOCKED the ad blocker the first time I got your annoying messages. WHY does this message keep appearing?! Rapidly running out of patience with Yahoo. After over 20 years of use I am about to change to another free email provider.

everyone's account has already been compromised. Billions of emails from Yahoo were hacked in the 2010s and nothing was done. Close your account and move to gmail or protonmail.

I have disabled my adblockers to receive yahoo mail --and it constantly states that I did not --please cut it out!

It's amazing how many of these threads have been started over the past few years, with tens of thousands of loyal Yahoo users posting their extreme displeasure over:
1. The change from Yahoo "Classic" Mail. For me - and nearly everyone else - that was the perfect email client and didn't need this downgrade.
2. These pop-ups regarding ad-blockers.Yet somehow, every time I've left feedback here, all of the threads with thousands and thousands of posts in them have magically disappeared. My (sometimes lengthy) posts are apparently gone and obviously went ignored.
I've been using Yahoo mail for 18 years now. I'm appalled at the way Yahoo is treating its loyal fanbase.
It's bad enough to make unnecessary and regressive changes to a once-great service. It's even worse to bombard people with ads that have the potential to contain malicious code and then punish them when they download ad-blockers to keep themselves safe.
But worst of all is to silence them. Again and again. Where are my posts from ~3 years ago and onward regarding this situation, Yahoo? Along with the tens of thousands of other peoples'? Deleting our Feedback doesn't change our feelings. It' only makes us sadder and angrier.
I never thought I'd go this far, but it's looking like my days with Yahoo are coming to an end if nothing is changed. Had I known this was coming, I would have migrated to Gmail years ago.
Please listen to your users Yahoo. Stop silencing us and pretending like we don't exist to you. If you continue on this path, you'll be the one who doesn't exist to us anymore. We'll have moved on.

Asking people to turn off adblock or sit through a 15 second window is a quick way to force those users off the platform for good. If this is the intended action, ignore this feedback. If not, perhaps there are other ways to get people actively involved in additional features yahoo could provide to those who are willing to sit through ads.

If you don't stop this pop up for ad blocker, I'll move to my gmail account. I don't want to see ads and I don't want to pay for email. I've held our with yahoo when everyone else switched, but I'm not going to deal with this long term.

You are on the cusp of losing a VERY long time user. Your tactics to force run adds are unacceptable. Your newest "time out" pop up is nothing but anger inducing. The posts here are only the people willing to give you a chance to stop. I am sure you will never admit how many just stopped using Yahoo and went to another product.

I have been using Yahoo as my home base for over 20 years and until recently I have been satisfied, but now You are bombarding me with aggrevating popups urging me to switch to a subscription service. All you are going to do is cause me to switch to another free service. I don't know if that is your intention to drive away free subscription users or not but if this continues I will be gone.

DITO to all the other Responses concerning payment for your ad blocker to stop the pop up to disable your ad blocker! There is enough Ads on the home page so just stop!

REALLY bad idea to try to hold my email ******* because I choose to use an Ad-Blocker. While I realize that ads are a way for Yahoo to make money, you're NOT going to recoup the loss of money from advertising and people BLOCKING said ads by trying to extort the money from the mail users. There's a REASON we all use Ad-Blockers! I guess it's time to quit using Yahoo mail and go back to Google mail. Your attempt at trying to get money out of me has backfired.

THIS NEW 15 SECOND TIMER TO GET TO EMAIL IS JUST ANOTHER INSTANCE OF YAHOO TRYING TO DICTATE WHAT YOU AND CAN'T DO. GET RID OF IT AND THE ADS. YAHOO IS NOT FREE IF YOU HAVE TO PAY $3.49/MO TO GET RID OF THE **** ADS
