Why is there some much spam getting through?
The past month I've been getting double digit spam every day. I mark them all as spam yet they keep getting through. It has never been this bad, I could depend on Yahoo mail filters but no more. For a pay service they need to figure this out!

same problem with so much spam!! I've been a paid member since 2006. Please do something about this. I keep blocking senders and more keep getting through. Isn't this part of what we're paying for?

The spam problem is seriously the worst, 50% of my messages are spam and very specific type of spam - a subject line, no text, and then an image. And it has been getting even worse in the past few months - at least give me a filter to block this type of spam(majority for me).
I have been a paid member since the 90's and for the increased price, we should not see this level of spam. Fix this Yahoo! please.

I am receiving this email daily for over a year before and after Pro. Mcfee 2022 "Warning! Renew your subscription." Your device is in danger." Made a 2nd request to yahoo today to stop these emails. Yahoo did stop for about 2 months then it came back.

Not only is the spam out of control but the past 2 weeks several emails from long time contacts has been going to my spam box.

A huge increase in spam started in the last couple of months, and the stuff getting through is ridiculously obvious. I have had a paid account for many years and the filtering has always been terrific. Until now. From the comments, it looks like the filtering system started going under in December 2021 and the deficiency has been expanding to more customers since then. Since Yahoo used to know how to filter, can we hope this will be fixed SOON?

Same just started happening to me. I've been using Yahoo Pro for years and have never had it this bad until yesterday.

Yes! I too have noticed the same annoying trend. Spam email used to almost always go to the Spam folder but now I have several **** emails in my inbox every day. Why? Why now? I have a paid account and have had one for years. Please respect your paying customers and fix this issue.

Ditto on all the above comments. Yahoo spam filters are completely inadequate. I'm a paid subscriber, but I'm seriously considering migrating to another service. If anyone from Yahoo is actually reading this... please fix the following
1. Fix the spam filters... as others people have commented... the emails are very obviously spam and should be easy to detect
2. Allow wildcards in the domain blocking
3. Fix the web client... to allow Spam to be selected as a folder when creating custom filters. I can do it on the android app, but not the web client. -

I too keep getting the same spam over and over no matter if I mark it spam or block senders, I get the same ones daily. Now most sender's address turn to numbers the moment I check mark them. I am considering abandoning Yahoo Mail, paid premium, and use my Gmail account.

I also get regular spam daily now. Some of the stuff that gets through should be easy to catch since the subject line always has multiple special characters and something about my McAfee or Windows having expired. Fix this!

The spam filter worked well until about four months ago. Now half of my mail is spam. When I tick the box and indicate "Spam" it asks me to "Unsubscribe". What? I did click on one spam email, (out of curiosity) and was delighted to see that my Malwarebytes and Windows Security worked. These emails are FULL of viruses, trojan horses and all other kinds of garbage. Yet, the Yahoo! spam filter continually filters my news articles into the Spam folder even after I've told the filter "NOT SPAM". I've been paying for Yahoo! Plus for over twenty years. Yahoo! - get it right or stop charging me money for providing me what YOU want me to read.
