    I am just now looking at my security login settings. Under "this is how you sign in now" 2-step verification is OFF and is says nothing about needing the phone number you clowns forced me to give you when I signed up. This is exactly what happened with my other account which I have been forced to abandon unless I were stupid enough to call your overpriced 1-800 number.   4. why can't i add a new celfone nmbr? i keep specifying "Philippines" but yahoo system keeps making the country code "1" for USA

    i can't add another (backup) celfone nmbr for 2-step verification. Your yahoo system keeps making USA the default country code. I am in the Philippines

  7. How to recover account if I can’t log in to my recory email and don’t remember the password. And answer that I receiving is that yahoo can’t

    I can’t log into my yahoo account that was generated 20 years ago in Latvia and I forgot the password and haven’t acces to my recovery email. Only answer that I receive from yahoo is that they can’t verify that account belongs to me. That I can do?

  15. Yahoo locked me out of my email and charged me to get back in!!

    Due to Yahoo locking me out of my email account, they wouldn't help me until I paid for the subscription to Yahoo Premium Service. then it was miraculously fixed in about 2 minutes. i was unfairly coerced into paying to get into my email account when I never signed out of it!!
    The first time it asked me to change my password (which I did), to get back in. this worked. then within 24 hours, it locked me out again!!!
    Now it wouldn't allow me to change it again. I was later told it was because I did NOT have…

  18. Two Factor Authentication Setup Failed

    I scan the QR code into Google Authenticator. It creates a new rotating code. I enter that code exactly and it fails. Rinse and repeat confirming each time the generated code is entered accurately. But it fails every time.

    It's it's this bad during setup, how can I have any faith it's going to work once it's enabled?

  20. Two factor autentication for account setttings, but not when I am accessing email.

    I don't use the yahoo app and your two factor authentication requires me to verify in the app. I would like to enable two factor authentication to protect my account settings separate from email access. Furthermore I want the two factor code to be sent to my phone as a text message rather than the yahoo app.
