  4. Cant reactive closed email do to 2 step verification process

    I go through the steps 1 sign in to closed account 2 verify using sent code.3 then yahoo insists on sending 2nd code to a non active email account. when I press chose other option It won't allow me to do this

    One of my recovery emails is one I no longer use or have access to because I retired and the account has been deleted by my former employer. I have tried several in the last 5 years to get yahoo to provide an answer. I notice that all of the suggested comments have the same thread and NONE of them have solution. Way to go yahooty!

  7. Enable the "Generate an app password" feature in Yahoo or get rid of it so I can access my Yahoo email via Outlook.

    Get rid of the need to generate an app password to use Outlook to access my Yahoo mail account - using my (secure) Yahoo login credentials should be secure enough! Also, the "Generate an app password" feature is currently NOT WORKING which is so frustrating!

    you need to fix your ******* application password generator. I have been a Yahoo user for over 25 years. I call ******** on the password generator not working. I seems to me from the length of time it has been inoperable and the overwhelming number of comments on the issue, that it has been disabled intentionally to drive traffic to Yahoo.

    You are sending broken sms-otp's thru compromised provider. Typically your otp is delivered by +44 7873 077777 with appropriate contect. Now it is delivered thru a national prepaid number and with inappropriate content. Please manage this better, it is important security feature!

    I have ie, blahblah@yahoo.com and my backup is blahblah@comcast.net. Yahoo would not recognize them as having different suffixes (Yahoo and comcast.net). It would not allow me to put it in but a Yahoo tech put secondary in. Then began the month i couldn't get in and spent hours and hours on the phone.     Leave physical passcode keys, sure it costs the consumer more because your paying for a more secure system / wallet / banking system. I would not trust my retirement information or Investment information to any
