    Where do I find the settings to change my account info to an email vs a text code to my phone? I have been waiting an hour and the code to verify it's me hasn't shown up and Yahoo is asking that I update my stuff. I'd like to change it from a text to an email person notified to help me log in if needed. THNX

  7. Up-sold to change a misspelled alternate email account - what?!

    I happened to misspell my alternate email account, and because I have 2-step authentication I was unable to reset my passord. I would get the code on my cell, enter it, then it would want a code to my alternate email...and stuck! I called support and they made me upgrade my support service to Premium (12.99 / month) in order to have them update my alternate email (really?!). I asked if I could cancel anytime, and fortunately that was a yes. I called right back and cancelled it - and it cost me $12.99 to change my password in the…

    Spammers can use anyone's email address to subscribe them to their scam services, you either have to deal with the clutter of spam or manually disable them every week. How about a disable subscriptions option that instead denies all subscriptions no matter who tries to subscribe?

  12. You should have customer service agents who do not change back the information after you finish calling them. Also, don't delete emails.

    Change personnel or have them take an ethics class and human rights training course. Make sure personal emails are not being lost because an account got hacked and even if it was made aware of there were no precautions made. Put protection for spam and scamming emails from PayPal and all that. You call them and they continue to steal from you because you cannot verify the number. Please take care of the people and their rights to privacy and to be secure while on a personal email.
