  1. Generating third-party App passwords doesn't work - error message for days now when trying to generate a password for Outlook

    Fix your app generating program and/or make it more user friendly for Outlook users. I'm not going to use my new Yahoo email until I can import it into Outlook.

  2. App Password Generator - No Apps Dropdown Menu

    When trying to generate app password in the Account Security of my yahoo email account, there is no dropdown menu of applications to choose one. When I type the name of the app in the box, in particular 'Outlook Desktop', the following text turns up: 'Sorry, this feature is not available at present.' Could you propose me a feasible solution. I need this feature to use MS Outlook through my yahoo email. Thank you in advance!

  3. The "Generate an app password" dialog box is not working.

    There is no pull down menu for the app name. When I fill the app name in manually I get an error message: Sorry, this feature is not available right now.
    It's nice that you have the feature to generate passwords for third party apps, but features that don't work aren't features.

  4. Unable to generate an app password so can't access my email on my desktop at work as yahoo is blocked by admin to prevent searches other tha

    I am unable to access my Yahoo account at work as admin have blocked the site and we can only search using Norton. Since I am a sub-contractor and need access to my Yahoo account they have given permission for me to use Outlook but I am unable to sign in without an app password but the option on my mobile device and home PC is showing as unavailable.

    Is there an alternative way I can sign in to my account using Outlook without a generated app password?

  10. Spam Filter

    In the past 2 weeks I have been receiving a high number of Spam emails in my Inbox. In the past, these were filtered out and would go directly to my Spam folder so I would not see them. I'm not sure if any changes have been made recently to filters/spam criteria, but if there is a way to lessen the amount of Spam received in my Inbox, it would be greatly appreciated.

  11. Improve the SPAM filter

    I have been using Yahoo mail almost from the creation of Yahoo. Never have I experienced a continuous inundation of SPAM as I am currently. And to have a message pop up as I mark the item as SPAM "inviting" me to spend for Yahoo+ to get better SPAM blocking makes me think that Yahoo is intentionally not blocking the SPAM as to push me to pay for something that should be provided anyway.     you need to fix your ******* application password generator. I have been a Yahoo user for over 25 years. I call ******** on the password generator not working. I seems to me from the length of time it has been inoperable and the overwhelming number of comments on the issue, that it has been disabled intentionally to drive traffic to Yahoo.

  19. yahoo blocking me from comments.

    why does yahoo support Russian bots, trolls and social media agents, but block legitimate users. Some of the comments by the Russian social media supporters are horrendous, but Yahoo allows them to make this horrible comment. I counter these comments by calling them out at Russian social media agents, and I get FOREVER blocked by Yahoo. The only conclusion I can come to is that Yahoo has Russian agents actually working for it.
