  1. Return to original format

Why not go back to the original format where you can block spam emails from the main inbox....this worked so good but now it is terrible

  3. I like my Password for My Accounts. Why Do I have to fight to get my own Password? Yahoo want me to leave? No CS at all?

My Password was saved in my key chain. When I got new devices I had a bit of a mess but then after being locked out I accepted the current form but after a while it gets to be a pain because I like my password and I would rather give up Yahoo than continue with a pain in the Butt To reroute for the Password fix! This is a public forum so I doubt anything that is said here will get anything done! I use to Love my Yahoo Mail now it a pain! Some fixes push people away…

  5. Device history is missing

Earlier today someone hacked my phone to gain control of my Yahoo account, and after updating my password and setting up 2-step verification, all my device history is lost.

  10. Ability to open a chat box to tech support

Have a way to open a chat box with tech support WITHOUT paying for the effort. I cannot get any emails and the only way to get it fixed is to call in to a 800 number and pay an huge fee to just talk to someone! I have to PAY before I can get to ask a question and then PAY for the time it takes for tech support to look into the problem and see if they CAN fix. I could be out $100's before I even find out if it can be fixed

  11. Accept VOIP phone numbers

My Google Voice is my primary phone number. It is the only one I can use for 2-step verification. Every other place on the internet accepts it and I think Yahoo should join them.

  12. Discontinue Automatic Archival of Emails! The User Should Choose What to Archive

Allow option to use Archive or Not or Remove the Archive setting. Archive is an additional place to stores sent emails that can be retreived, reviewed in the Sent folder. What is the point of having so many duplicate emails? Archive should be optional at best. Let the user decide to archive or delete. It appears that data being stored for storage sake only. Many don't know emails are being archived. They assume they have the option to archive for later use. Everything is archived. Why??? Whose using or accessing that data being stored and never accessed? What is the…

  13. Localize log in attempts/Immeditally deny and report login attempts from other countries

Simple, if someone logs in from another country and you get a "Are you signing in notifcation?" then you can block the country entirely from the attempt and the IP address, that tightens security while also helping users keep themselves secure so people cant force their way onto peoples account with a fatal misclick on the phone.

Shouldnt be too hard to code into the authentication system, but who knows

  15. Stop making me change my password. I understand security but good lord how have I needed to change it over fifty times?

Please give me a good reason why I've been made to change my password over fifty times? Every single time I attempt to use my e-mail account I have to change my password again. If I save it to my computer, you say "it's outdated". How can it be outdated at one week of age? Also, what is the purpose of the 'remember me' button if it does not in fact remember me? Even the security program I pay money for can't seem to invent a password that is good enough for you. Am I to believe that at least…

  16. Stop making it so hard to log into my email

Everytime I log in lately I have to make a new email password, and verify with my phone. It's stupid. What's the point in having a password, especially one with security-specifications, if I have to verify with my phone? I have 2SV turned off, and I want it that way.
Let me log in with a password, if I get it wrong, assume it's because I have to try 30 different passwords because everything on the internet requires a unique password and I need to figure out which one goes to what account, and whether or not it's been updated…

  18. You need to allow annual billing for your services

You need to allow annual bill payment for your services. It definitely would be less expensive for you (Only 1 transaction fee to pay instead of 12) This would accommodate people that do not authorize automatic billing

  19. Unable to login using security code generated on mobile device

    Hi,

This past two days I'm unable to login to yahoo mail on my laptop with the security code generated on my mobile device. I have to select recovery email to get a code in order to access my yahoo email.

I never had this problem before.

    Thank you.

  20. Yahoo should double check their references for news articles

In a referenced article on floor8.com about a women being taught a lesson because she wouldn't remove her bag from a bus seat next to her, my anti-virus software AVAST showed a pop-up about some MALWARE on that site - a pic of the pop-up is attached to the email sent to Yahoo support, and I will subsequently unsubscribe from your COVID-19 update newsletter.
