Email recovery linked accounts no longer active
There has to be an easier way of logging into your account if you have forgotten your email password and the linked accounts are no longer valid, so you can't retrieve any new potential password without having to pay nearly £5 a month for a one-off exercise. I appreciate it cost Yahoo money, but seriously, all I want to do is have someone ask me a couple of security questions, then reset my linked email accounts so that, if in future I forget my password, I can retrieve the password from my now active linked email accounts, not my old…

I have two email accounts, everytime I want to switch My second one is gone and then suddenly my passwords are not recognised
I would like to log in into any of my two accounts and while I am in I would like to be able to switch between accounts without all the hassle.
Can I use one password for both or make the one account master and the other a *****/sub account? -

Don't force peopel to arbitrarily change their password for no reason. i had to change mine yesterday...i've been using that password for years, or a variation of it...and now i can't have anything similar. This is how old people get locked out of their email accounts, you pull stupid **** like this and then they forget what they changed it to.

Not everyone has a cell phone to receive TEXT. I do have a landline but, no TEXT.
Find a way that people with landline's can also have more security.

my outlook was not able to download yahoo.co.in emails. i needed an app password but could not find the section dealing with app password.
then i shifted to basic version, and with some difficulty found the app password and now my outlook can download emails. -
There shouldn't be a daily limit on 2 step verify
It seems there was some other type of security you used and when I turned it off, there was only 2 step. So I turned it on. Then turned it off to see if this other process would show up. Now I have to wait a day to turn back on and you have exposed me to hacks. The other option, whatever it was isn't there either. Once again Yahoo sucks.

Sign In Failure to Email
Everytime I try to sign into my Yahoo email account, I get an error message "Can't sign in now try later." Later never comes! I get this message regardless as to the time I try to sign in. I am only successful when I sign in on my Windows 10 desktop.

When i came back to India i wantvto use facebook and they are asking to fill the code that they sent to my email. When i tried to open my email yahoo saying my account is deactivated. Please sign up.
