When I remove a recovery phone number, how about you ACTUALLY remove the number from my account?
I have removed a phone number from my list of recovery numbers about six times in the past couple of days and every single time, the person who is accessing my account uses the very same number to regain access and continue using the account with my name on it with impunity. So, how about you make it so that when someone removes a number from their account, it actually removes that number from their account?

I understand the need for good security, but this system of generating bs additional password is BS - especially when you already have 2 part authentication! Some email clients service checks can't even display the password page!

This past two days I'm unable to login to yahoo mail on my laptop with the security code generated on my mobile device. I have to select recovery email to get a code in order to access my yahoo email.
I never had this problem before. I also find that there are several users who have logged into my account previously. As the code sent to my mobile is not recognized by yahoo security. Explain this

Account Security>Access &Security>Device Notifications---Unable to Manage Devices
When I go to this section, it lists 3 iPhones, each with their own toggle. There is no way to accurately list the devices that are actually used. When I toggle off any one device, there is no indication what device was paired with it. Yes, the Recent Activity tab lists as such, but there should be a way on the Device Notifications tab on the Access & Security page, to actually manage each device I chose to use.

Localize log in attempts/Immeditally deny and report login attempts from other countries
Simple, if someone logs in from another country and you get a "Are you signing in notifcation?" then you can block the country entirely from the attempt and the IP address, that tightens security while also helping users keep themselves secure so people cant force their way onto peoples account with a fatal misclick on the phone.
Shouldnt be too hard to code into the authentication system, but who knows

Authenticator
Allow us use our offline authenticator apps for generating 1-time-code for 2FA. All your other methods of 2FA are unreliable jokes relying on 24/7 connection to yahoo servers. Simply give authenticator apps as an alternate method if you actually care about the security of user data and arean't merely looking for another way to track users 24/7.

Verification code doesn't work; seems as if yahoo has decided I must resort to text.
Verification code YAHOO sent doesn't work; only viable alternative is send text. Seems corrupt that YOUR code will only work if you send a text.
