Please note: Some third-party apps have their own sending name setting, which bypasses the Yahoo Mail setting. If the app you're using attaches a different name than the one saved in your Yahoo Mail settings, contact the manufacturer of the app for assistance.

    I have changed my last name on my yahoo mail several times and while it shows the correct name when I look at it, when people receive mail from me, it still shows my old last name, please help!

    Yahoo does not CORRECT the account when "personal information" changes! My husband passed away & I decided to take over this account in my name. I did change it but HIS NAME STILL COMES UP!!! So it's NOT TRULY CHANGED.

    I figured it out but it was a pain. You have to try to sign in then keep selecting "Another way" or whatever until it asks you if you wanna reset your password. This is disgusting and what's worse is you have to pay $5/m in order to get any help from them. Absolutely criminal behaviour on their end.

    There should be an Edit area to change the new cell phone name, even if it uses the same phone number on record. The old device was with another carrier. I would like to update the new device with the same cell phone number. This cannot currently be done.

    Put a fucking "change password" button in the account page right you fucking dumbasses! This is unacceptable bullshit I have to make my account less secure before changing my password? I spent 20 minutes reading how-to's on the whole process behind changing a password and still can't figure it out. DEACTIVATING MY ACCOUNT. FUCK you Yahoo and your dumbass page designers.

    HI 2 NIGHTS AGO im in hospital after getting double pnuemonia covid and infections since the 23 sept i am now out of covid and in a recovery ward still fighting ? and since yahoo asked me to put my accounts all in one place ?i have had nothing but grief ?then 2 nights all emails vanished and i dont seem to get many a day now andi know they ave been sent out ? one account is still closed from facebook because i never had the correct infothat was 3yrs ago but that account has all my photos of family etc the last thing i need is this there asking for a second mobile number to open the account there i only have one mobile that i hardly use but i sent a a email asking for help cannnot talk beci have a oxeygen mask on ceepak so its done by email i need all emails back because its evidence for a i have against E.ON all of that has gone i trusted yahoo and its let me down have to get in touch with paypal saying someone tried to get into my account and the closed it because it was a wrong numger just to much when you not well? stay safe be well

    Hello. I have changed the name on personal information multiple times but it doesnt change when I send the e-mail still appears the old one. I changed my name and it's now becoming a problem as people aren't recognizing my emails. Could you please help me to change it? Otherwise, I will be leaving Yahoo after 17 years!

    I can't change my name from lower case to upper case. Very annoying and it is making my emails look unprofessional.
