My name change does not reflect in sent mail
Regardless of what I do, my name will not change on outgoing mail
Thank you for your feedback.
To change the sending name in Yahoo Mail, please follow these instructions:
https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN28072.html
Please note: Some third-party apps have their own sending name setting, which bypasses the Yahoo Mail setting. If the app you're using attaches a different name than the one saved in your Yahoo Mail settings, contact the manufacturer of the app for assistance.

20 character password is ridiculous you should FIRE the ******* that came up with that. You held my mail back which is worse than what any hacker would do and the whole process of changing to a new one was a pain **********. Get rid of the fucktard who executed this idea -

Why is everything function harder on Yahoo than on gmail?
All I want to do is change my password. Why do I have to read pages of instructions.
While we're at it, why isn't there a SEND prompt at the top of the email page as well as at the bottom?

Make it more visible. Should not have to jump through hoops to change your password, especially when i just got a notification someone was trying to sign into my account.

I believe that Yahoo buries the security features so that it can sell subscription services just to help people change their passwords. I called because after great ado, I located the password change and it would NOT ALLOW me to change my password. I put in my user name and it would NOT ALLOW me to input my legit password, instead throwing up a message that some type of key was on my account and a password change could not be resolved. WTF?? I called Yahoo and the tech refused to assist with the password change because they are a subscription service only. Dude. This is YOUR dysfunctional software. If you don't want to make it work, there are email services that function and that don't admittedly "lose email" as a normal course of business.

You can change name, gender, and nicknames, but not birthdate.
In my case it's displaying the birthdate of my father. It's probably a result of this address once being an SBC Global email as part of a family package, a long time ago.

Although I changed my name and surname, I still appear as Sevgi Peker in the e-mails I send. I request that it be changed to Sevgi Vermisli immediately.

How about having the instructions on how to create a password under help match the actual steps you follow online so you are not forced to call the supreme number to pay for service.

i need you to arrest anyone in my email plus anyone who changed my birthday to september 9 th in my email when it is the 28th. i need you to monitor sites correctly by not being in the persons site but looking at the software program and that is the job not looking at peoples email unless they request you to look at it but you have to let them know you are looking at the site because you are investing it because someone sent some mail into the site and you need information because what they were doing was a crime. the person investigating your site has to tell you who they are in person by signing contracts.if you are sending them mail and you wait till they respond to the email the response they give is what you must listen to when it is good and for that person who has their legal name on the website and email.

The option to change my password is completely missing from the Account Security page of yahoo even though the help guide directs me there. It is not that I can't find it, it really is gone.
This should be a huge security priority for Yahoo but the comments go back weeks. -

I have spent an hour trying to change my password because of an intruder where I gave my password. I thought they were Apple, but they were a fraud. I still cannot change my password. Why is it so hard. I am signed in and now it says to sign in. I have had it with Yahoo and will go to Gmail if this continues.
