It seems that many people having same problem with changing phone number in 2-step verification. Yahoo Member Center does not respond them.

Some of us don't have phones and some of us don't want phones.
SO, REQUIRING a phone number is B.S as that is a FORCED PURCHASE of goods or services which is along the lines of EXTORTION.

Signing in with 2-step verification
This is not idea.
I activated the 2-step verification. After that I signed out and I tried to sign in on the mail.yahoo.com site. Even if I provide the 2-step verification code, I cannot sign in.
However if I try to login on thehttps://login.yahoo.com/account/security?.lang=en-US&.intl=us&.src=yhelp
site, then I can. But this seems a workaround. What's wrong? Or what did I wrong?

My account is hacked. I do Not own a computer. You ALWAYS go with whatever the hacker does on the computer.
