  3. I decided to use Yahoo two-step verification.

    I signed up for two-step ID. Yahoo gave a notify your Iphone? option. But it never notified me. Then there was at the bottom in blue "I need more options". After clicking that for the last month or two it allowed me to id my phone and Yahoo sent me the code. Today the additional options is replaced with go to help. I was finally given the option of a qr code. In trying that it failed. So I was able to use my backup (non-Yahoo) email go in and "upgraded" my account to no longer use two-step id!

  9. Generate app password, feature is not working, when it will be fixed...

    I have been trying to generate an app password for Outlook Desktop but there is no drop down for apps and when I manually enter Outlook Desktop I get the message:

    Sorry, this feature is not available at present.

    This is fine but I have been trying now for 2 days and still no joy.

  14. Allow us DIRECT access to converse in Yahoo Comments AGAIN

    For a short while in February, we could read a reply to our comment, then go RIGHT TO that reply to respond. Then the functionality was shut down again.
    Why do we have to scroll through literal HOURS of comments to find something we want to respond to? It's surprising how stupid that is in 2023. Especially when it wasn't like that for a few weeks. Why remove the feature?

  15. I can't sign in easily since I got a new phone!

    Since I got a new phone, I can't sign in using my new phone. I also cannot sign in using my hotmail recovery account. I finally signed in with my gmail account.

    I checked my yahoo account info and the new phone was there. Also, my hotmail account was there.

    What is going on?????

  18. Improve the SPAM filter

    I have been using Yahoo mail almost from the creation of Yahoo. Never have I experienced a continuous inundation of SPAM as I am currently. And to have a message pop up as I mark the item as SPAM "inviting" me to spend for Yahoo+ to get better SPAM blocking makes me think that Yahoo is intentionally not blocking the SPAM as to push me to pay for something that should be provided anyway. I get that the glory days for Yahoo are over, and the company continues to struggle to make money. But this is more likely going to…
