WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  3. More respect to the customers - less space for ads

    Remove ads from my mail - because I am paying, it's not a free version. So why I see ads at all??? And the ads take almost half of the right side of my screen. Please, do something about it. What's the point of paying and geting the ads?

  7. Terrible new yahoo mail and the old classic is completely unusable

    All of the above, please bring back the old classic version, it has been working so well for so long, the new yahoo is unbearable, and I was pleased to see I could at least go back to the classic old version, but now that looks tiny, you can’t hit the delete without hitting unread or just highlighting the email. This is frustrating and so time consuming to delete five emails and yesterday 35 emails, completely has lost the ability of efficiency. so much negative reviews all stating the same issues.   8. Stop forcing unwanted changes on users. This is NOT improvement

    Found myself unvoluntarily in a horrible „new“ email layout/version. Just leave as is!!! How hard can that be? Nobody was asking for „improvements“. It worked just fine. Now in the „old version“ the preview window to the right is gone, and the new version wastes space with their left hand navigation, and everything is way too small to comfortably navigate. This is NOT a positive change, and I refuse to do the „designer“‘s work by pointing out details. Maybe it’ll help if the ones responsible would be fired and everything rolled back.

  10. Have the option to go back to the old mail

    You can no longer even see the whole page for your email. It shows half the email and you can’t look at the entire message at one time. It’s ridiculous. This new email is horrible.

  12. Go back to the old email!!!!!

    You keep changing the email and it is a major aggravation. It seems to be every 4 months you release a new version. It is a major upset. Human beings don’t like change. All these fancy things are mostly annoyances. Please st It. Your new version is slow and full of bugs. If I could I would go elsewhere. This version is way too busy, it’s difficult to differentiate the emails. It used to be every other line was a different color. THAT WAS GOOD. Now the little box can’t be checked to delete something. THIS IS BAAAAD. JUST GO…

  13. Change it back.

    I think it looks like a mess. Cannot enlarge font. Deleting a message takes several tries, it’s not very responsive. I don’t feel like it is as user friendly like the old was. Why change when the other was fine??

    Can you please move the flashing curson position from the message section to the addressee field when forwarding an email. You do not always need to add a message to a email you are forwarding. However you ALWAYS need to enter the addressee.
    Gmail, outlook etc all get it right. Come on YAHOO get eith it.

    I hate your new version. It s hard to read our mail from the mailbox. it zooms in the mail and I see like a square of if and I need to go left and right and left and right to be able to read the line... and so one. I ve done my best to not have the new version. I has been installed without my agreement and I deeply regret the previous version

    WHAT RIGHT DOP YOU HAVE TO GO THRU OUR EMAILS AND DELETE THEM WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE. NOT ONLY ARE WE NOT GETTING OUR AUTHNJORIZED EMAILS BUT YOUR SYSTEM IOS DELETING THEM WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. WHY???????

  20. Incorrect replies from support about achievements

    Hi, I see several replies from the Yahoo team saying you can turn off Achievements by going into your mail Settings and Notifications. The only option in Notifications is for your Desktop Notifications, which I already have turned off, and the achievements and streaks still show up when using my inbox. I can send screen shots if you'd give me a way to do so. I believe the Yahoo mail team replies are assuming everyone is using the mobile app. How do we turn it off on the desktop browser app?
