I can't believe Yahoo is putting email alerts for advertising. If you don't remove this, I will switch to using only my google account. I am not paying to have no ads on my email. That is ridiculous.

The new layout is Awesome
The new Yahoo mail design is great. The layout makes it easy for me to jump to Offers, Social & Newsletters. I get a lot of traffic that I did not sign up for, but this saves me so much time from selecting each piece of mail I did not expect to get. Give the creator or team a pat on the back. Well designed, I like it.

compact squeezed inbox
I wake up this morning and Yahoo hijacked my inbox and made my email list compressed so that, presumably, I can see more emails in the inbox list at once. This is much harder to read for me. As people age, they don't want things smaller on their computer screens. They want things bigger. Why can't I have a bloody choice as to how I can see my message list? Why do I always wake up to so-called improvements that make things worse for me?? You could at least have 2 or 3 settings so I can choose to see…

Minimize right hand column every time on opening mail
Option to have the right hand column minimized on opening mail. I do not use any of the features and it uses up too much space and I do not want to manually minimize each time I open mail. I will stick to the old mail format until this is implemented.

My cursor won't stay where I left it...
I can read or delete an email dated yesterday, and when I close/delete it, my cursor bounces back to JUNE. Today, I cannot get the cursor to STAY on this month's emails. Sheesh.

Provide a way to disable the irritating prompt to set up a Face/Fingerprint passkey
Given that the device (PC) which I'm logging onto Yahoo mail through does NOT have either a camera or a fingerprint scanner, the prompt to set up a passkey using these methods is irrelevant and extremely irritating. Surely there has to be some way to disable the prompt or a way for Yahoo mail to detect that these capabilities are not present?

Emptying categories like newletter, social and offers as there is an option to "Empty Trash" option
Feature to empty categories or bulk delete without scrolling back and forth for the categories like newletter, social and offers. Just to boost the storage if Yahoo did not provide this option mean it would be a big loos as customers will move away to better email services.

Highlight last read email
When trying to find specific email content scrolling through hundreds of emails and looking st each email is extremely time consuming. It is worse because when opening an email and then closing it there is no way to know where you are in the scrolling process. Could you just highlight the last email opened? Thanks.

I am experiencing a serious issue with my Yahoo Mail account that appears to be related to the mailbox on the server side.

My Yahoo Mail account can still be accessed normally through the web browser, but it is no longer able to send or receive emails.
Symptoms
I cannot send any email from Yahoo Web Mail.

Please change back to the old email format. From: with the name of the person. To: name of the person
I am puzzled as to why you all changed the email formats. You should use sender's name and the recipient's name. I now receive emails as - "To: me" It should read as follows: "To: Jane Doe"
Also, if there are two or more recipients, all names should be printed. Emails are admissible in the court of law. You all have made it difficult to see who the sender and recipient are.66th ranked -

Additional view customization
Add an option to delete the right side window "Notes, Contacts...etc" when viewing emails to allow for a wider view for folders. Currently, most of my folder names are truncated and the small size makes it more difficult to navigate. I will never need the right side panel and it takes up valuable space that could be better used.

put star select option in the same place it appears on the list, not at the end of email thumbnail
Why is the select star option at the end of the email in the list and not in the position where the star shows on the list, next to the title?... so put star select option in the same place it appears on the list, not at the end of email thumbnail...
And why are starred emails detailed as a dedicated window to the right... totally unnecessary... that space would be better used to see more emails at one go, attachment previews, and a check preview screen for batch selections for filing/delete/starring for later attention... you can see the stars…

as on the app, have last 3 folder used to pick from, to reduce clicks, gain consistency of filing, and work with task oriented organisation
have the last storage folders listed, so you can just pick the same as last folder as reading it, as you go thro a list of similar emails on a subject... on the mobile app there are your 3 last used folder to send to... would be really convenient on pc version too... thanks Dx

I have been a loyal Yahoo user for more than 20 years. Through all the changes in the internet landscape, I've continued using Yahoo because it was one of the pioneers that shaped the web experience for millions of people.
