It's an absolute joke. Scooter Gennett was diagnosed over a week ago with an injury that's going to keep him out at least 2 months. He's still marked "day to day". The people running these games are incompetent.

Same thing every year in every sport. Yahoo is incompetent when it comes to marking players injured and it's so important to anybody playing these games. They either don't care or they have no idea how important this issue is.
The biggest flaw in your fantasy games (all sports) is how you mark guys "injured". And it's one of the most important issues because missed games is a killer in head to head. It has to be resolved to make it fairer and more consistent. My league started with the Japan games so why aren't Gennett and Knebel marked injured yet? They are going to be out months.

Their policy on this makes it seem like they don't want anybody to own or pick up anybody with an injury because it's a huge hassle if you do. First four weeks of the football season I went thru **** because of this because I drafted Alshon Jeffery and he didn't play until week 5.
Yahoo doesn't seem to understand the ramifications of these injury classifications. I've complained about this several times especially in football. They move people from OUT to DOUBTFUL or QUESTIONABLE and then you're blocked from making waiver claims. Week 6 in football Geronimo Allison was OUT so I had him on IR. Packers were on a bye in Week 7 and they moved Allison from OUT to QUESTIONABLE which of course blocked me from making claims for the entire week unless I drop two players. It's a little different in football because they let you put OUT on the IL. They don't do it in basketball.

Evan Engram the TE for the Giants is available in my league. Supposed to be out for 2-4 weeks. Should I pick him up and go thru this scenario of being blocked from waiver claims for the next 4 weeks? I'm willing to wait and I'm weak at tight end but I really don't want to go thru this anymore. Eveybody is picking up players but I can't because of a player on my team that can't even play.
4 weeks in a row I'm blocked from making waiver claims. Isn't the fact that Jeffery doesn't play every week evidence enough that this is unfair? You've got some guy over at Rotoworld making random judgements about who's going to play based on newspaper reports or something. His judgements are WRONG obviously. And I was told it was Rotoworld by one of your employees via an email complaint I made about this.
LOL, that's fitting.
