Eliminating the message boards was the worst possible decision you could make. Yeah the casual 1 year renewal leagues could probably get by without it, but for any hardcore baseball league, especially keeper & dynasty leagues, these message boards are absolutely critical. These is no way you can replace the organizational value of the message boards with a scrolling chat. I get a headache just thinking about how ridiculous and unrealistic that idea is. It makes me wonder if the decision makers here even play any fantasy sports, or they would know better than to make a boneheaded decision like this. We use these boards to conduct offline drafts, and to store critical information year to year. To eliminate previous years boards without even a heads up, well it sure seems the decision makers have no clue about how the product they are providing for us is utilized. Please bring back the message boards, or you will lose your most valuable users, your hardcore players that love fantasy sports the most!

I should have added this is an issue for keepers leagues, as I generally only play keeper/dynasty leagues. Nobody in their right mind is going to drop Baez or Yelich in a keeper league. So then since MLB teams won't DL list players in September, it really puts fantasy managers in a bind at the most critical time during the fantasy playoffs.

I came here to post the very same thing about DTD injuries. We need IL+ slots (like Yahoo fantasy hockey) for DTD players. It stinks to get down to the fantasy playoffs and lose a Javy Baez or Christian Yelich for the year. MLB teams don't bother with DL listings once the rosters expand in September, at the most critical time of the season during fantasy playoffs. I have lost Baez and Yelich for the season/playoffs, and I can't even replace them. C'mon Yahoo!!

This really comes into play in September when MLB rosters expand. Players that are normally prior to September placed on the DL, such as Alex Bregman currently, are just left on the roster since MLB teams have so many other options. Fantasy mangers don't have those same options. And worst yet, it occurs during the fantasy playoffs. This really needs to be addressed.

If you truly intend to update the chat feature, that should have been done first before eliminating the message boards. You leave us hanging meanwhile. Just really tone deaf when it comes to a realization for what yours users need and want. I mean the chat feature is so poor, it's hard to have any faith that it will become useful for threads polls, etc. Hope I'm wrong. Can only shake my head at this one, it sure creates a lot of unnecessary angst over how to navigate this ridiculousness.
