This complaint has been at the top or near the top of Yahoo's list here for years yet nothing has changed, except possibly an increase in the number of stories about these self centered egomaniacal, self important, self serving half wits. What does it take to get Yahoo to actually pay attention? Your complete inability to listen to your users is driving yahoo into oblivion yet you don't seem to notice. Are yahoo execs really that stupid? Want to save Yahoo? Go through a major reboot. Run some TV ads formally acknowledging and apologizing for the S__TSHOW yahoo has become and, maybe, you might lure some users back. Then deliver on the promise of making Yahoo better. Without that, the users you have lost are gone forever and the users you have will continue to run to other platforms that are better in every possible way. More Kardashian nonsense is not working. So why keep it up despite years of complaints. This meaningless celebrity obsession is staggering in its utter stupidity. It is one of many things killing the company, yet you persist and even double down on it. Do you not see that?

I am very curious. Has the number of people clicking on articles about the Kartrashians decreased to an even greater extent than other articles now that comments are disabled? I suspect that the reason most people clicked on that trash was just to read the comments. They were always hilarious. With no comments, the only people who are going to click on those articles are those who actually care about those clowns. Even in our dumb downed society, there can't be that many people who are that shallow and stupid.

Here is an idea, Yahoo,. How about taking a lead in making the country stronger and better by educating the citizens about important issues. Instead we are subjected to whining celebrities who have become role models because the media has turned them into that. Why not become the solution rather than the problem,. Instead of continuously dumbing down your readers, how about educating them up? When half the stories on your home page are about the kardashians latest lunch menu or some other incredibly useless celebrity nonsense, you are part of the problem. I would even settle for one kardashian article a day (not that I would read it) just to cater to the idiots who actually think they are important. But can we make it just one and not a dozen every single day? Surely you realize that a HUGE proportion of your supposed news is pure trash. If not, there is a serious problem. It is getting old and yahoo is proving itself to be ever more useless. Here is how Yahoo has performed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Uj1A9AguFs Surely you recognize that you have a problem. So, how about making some substantial changes? How about starting with your front page and aiming it towards those with half a brain. How about maintaining your services so that they are actually useful instead of ever deteriorating? How about listening to your users? But why bother? Yahoo is dying a slow agonizing death and clearly, they don't see what the users see. It has become nothing but a worthless platform for low level advertisers to exploit the ignorant and keep them that way. How can the yahoo execs not sit back and take a long hard look at the site? It is just staggering. And the never ending litany about the Kardashians latest totally meaningless antics proves just how stupid they think their users are, yet, the users are leaving. Maybe there is a message in that? Maybe they aren't as stupid as the yahoo execs seem to think they are. Rant over. Time wasted. No one at Yahoo listens or cares.

I am very curious what Yahoo will do with the absurd volume of kartrashian stories now that comments are disabled. My guess is that most who click on those stories do so to read the always hilarious comments or to post some derogatory comment themselves. With no comments, who, but the most shallow among us with no lives of their own are going to click on those stories. And no clicks? No more ad revenue from them. No more Kartrashians. One hopes anyway.
