If a player qualifies for a position in a season, they get that position the following season.
Positions are not removed during the season.
If Norris does not qualify for SP this year, he will not be an SP next year.
He has SP this season because he qualified for the position based on his 2017 season activity.

Yahoo waits for the player to be placed on the MLB DL officially before assigning them DL status.
A report by a team that a player is going on the DL is not enough, it has to be officially completed.
The player who muffs the kick is charged with a fumble in the Yahoo! game, but not the D/ST.

The commish can bench all the players on teams 5 and down and lock them.
That is not possible.
This is currently possible in the game.
If a pitcher is scheduled to start either game of a DH, they will have a green dot next to their name and they can be started for the 2nd game.
You just need to have them in your active roster before the first game starts.
it is also one of the lowest priority requests made.
This won't be an option for this season.

No, the feature is still there.
Go to your fantasy profile, select History and football. A list of your leagues will be displayed.
Find the league you are interested in and select it. The final rosters for each team are available.
Most commishs use the Edit Schedule option and set their own schedules.
Public and Pro leagues have position limits. In private leagues, it is left up to the commish to control their own league.

The commish can bench all players on all teams and lock all teams for week 17.
Deadlines do not change for any leagues for ASW. It works the same way in basketball and hockey for weekly leagues.
Wheeler gave up 4 earned runs in that game, therefore he does not get a QS.
In football, the game time - Tuesday option is used for every week of the season.
In baseball, the deadlines for weekly leagues do not change because of the all-star break. They are the same every week of the season.
Beuhler was originally going to the minors by LA. Then just before his start in the minors, LA decided to put him the DL.
DL trumps NA.

You probably have the player is a trade offer or you have a waiver claim pending with the player.
I would not count on this changing. The same minimum concept is applied to goalies in hockey.
