    Should not be treated as 1 player. Are you going to UTIL start a pitcher? Are you doing to use pitcher innings to start an outfielder? Pitchers and batters have been separated. Othewise you're going to need to include defensive stats if we are going to talk real value of players and not just offensively.

    Then, what if he pitches and bats same day? Do you get both pitcher stats and batting? OP much for Ohtani?
    Pitchers in the NL used to bat and never received batting stats. Now a pitcher bats really well and people want batting stats attached to a pitcher.

    No as they would be overvalued as other players can not participate in Wins, Saves, Save% and SO
