Yahoo's philosophy is that constant defamation should be applied to certain groups: whites especially, Christians, straights, etc. (and Trump always). Yahoo also has a philosophy that certain groups should never face any criticism ever, even in the comments section: nonwhites, Jews/Muslims or any other religion besides Christian as well as atheists, gays, etc. I've noticed this even though I am an atheist and gay (much like Milo Yiannapoulos, whom Yahoo keeps calling a Nazi despite his being gay and Jewish). Today, when Hollywood actors called for a list of celebrity Trump donors to be publicized and people in the comments wondered what those actors were hoping to accomplish, the yahoo moderator would not allow me to suggest they might hope the donors will be blacklisted, creating more work in Hollywood for the leftist celebrities. The yahoo moderator would also not allow me to post this link to the 2008 article by Joel Stein (also Jewish) titled "Who Runs Hollywood? C'mon":
    https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2008-dec-19-oe-stein19-story.html

Stein published this article in the LA Times in 2008, and it's still online, yet Yahoo still doesn't want people to know about it over a decade later. It is important for Americans to know who the powerful people are who influence opinions and decide which actors get rolls, especially as we try to figure out why so many celebrities pay lip service to leftist beliefs. I was also not allowed to list the actors and actresses who have been blacklisted by Hollywood for being conservative. These actors and actresses are NOT powerful. The people who blacklisted them are, but Yahoo won't allow me to give the names of those belonging to either group, nor the article link to the LA Times (typically a very leftist publication), since they did the same. I guess that's power, eh?.

I can no longer use Yahoo because 1. every article has a video and none warn me about this when I click on a link, 2. the video auto-plays and won't stop... ever. Obviously, if I scroll down past the video, I'm not interested, but I guess whoever shoots them is so worried nobody will watch their videos that they have the videos continuing to play on the right while we try to read the article. Naturally, this results in distracting jerking movements on the right, preventing anyone in a high internet traffic area from being able to scroll down through the article to read it and preventing us from being able to comment. I have repeatedly tried to pause the videos to no avail, and have clicked on the X, but that just takes me back to yahoo's homepage (out of the article). The message appears to be "If you want to read the story but not watch the video, we don't want you here." Not everyone has the internet connection speed you require to support this newest ADHD version of yahoo. Please give us some option that actually works to get rid of the videos or an overall option to block all video content.

I can't comment anymore because every news article has a video attached and, when I scroll down, the video winds up on the right side, still going. If I try to pause the video, nothing happens. If I click on the large X on the video, I always end up at Yahoo's homepage again, like I clicked out of the article. I can hardly scroll, read, or comment on any articles because of the jerking movements from videos trying to play and preventing me from doing anything. Obviously if I wanted to watch the video, I wouldn't be scrolling down past it, but I apparently no longer have the bandwidth to support yahoo. I've seen plenty of feedback comments about videos, none of them asking for more, so why does every article have one? And why aren't we ever warned the article will have a video attached so we can avoid wasting our time?

    Hi,

Our Engineering team is looking into this. If you could let us know what about the “show less” option isn’t working we would appreciate it. Please provide specific publishers if possible.

    Regards,
    Homepage Support

So 10 days later, here's the comment I can't post on Yahoo today: "One time I was babysitting and the 3 year old girl began screaming and crying when I told her it was bedtime. The 5 year old boy told me to call 911. I thought these kids were brats until I realized their mother had put the 3 year old up to screaming at bedtime to keep the kids up so they would sleep in the next day. She had not let her son in on her plan and, because his sister didn't typically scream at bedtime, he honestly thought something was wrong with her."
Apparently, the above comment somehow violates Yahoo's terms and conditions. Can anyone tell me how? I tried to post this repeatedly, but it would not post, even though my complaints that this post was being removed kept posting.

I've had this problem more times than I can count, especially when I correct misinformation in a yahoo article. Here is my last comment that Yahoo removed:
"Police Chief Dyer says the injury on Arambula's daughter was not consistent with a spanking and was not located on her behind."

For those not desperate enough to try the script, remember to visit your favorite news sites and click on the "top stories" section to find out what's going on. Huffington Post is listed by Alexa as one of the top most visited news sites, but I suspect most of those visits are by Yahoo's staff. Avoid clicking on any stories by Huff Post and never, EVER click on any ads offered by Yahoo at all (on ANY story) until they grow up and overcome their bigotry.

    Diane commented  ·

An interesting discovery: apparently somebody has created an open source script and posted it online for free download that removes Huffington Post from a Yahoo news stream. They also claim the newest version removes other junk news like Vox and Thinkprogress from a Yahoo news stream. I tried it and it didn't work on my computer, but my browser is old, so it might work on yours if you are feeling desperate. Yahoo has known how hated Huff Post is by the bulk of their readers for over a decade, so I doubt they will do anything about it anytime soon. I don't think this script will harm your computer since mine still seems fine.
