Agree 100%, Anthony Rizzo does not play 2nd base! He slid over for a shift. You don't see the 2nd basemen getting 1st base eligibility for the same exact shift so there is 0 reason whatsoever that it should apply to Rizzo the other way around. It's fine to have a set requirement for position eligibility but there needs to be some common sense involved as well. This needs to be fixed to prevent Rizzo owners from having an unwarranted advantage.

Can't possibly agree more. Anthony Rizzo does not play 2nd base. Moving over towards 2nd during a shift does not constitute a player somehow being considered a 2nd basemen. If that's the case then every 2nd basemen there is should be eligible at 1st base since they cover 1st sometimes on bunt coverage. This glaring error in position eligibility provides a distinct advantage to a Rizzo owner since they can now start an extra 1st basemen. I don't know how this slipped through the cracks and was allowed to happen in the first place but this needs to be corrected.
