Stop posting spoilers on your Y! homepage.
Here's the novel idea. When a TV show airs, how about the next morning you don't post the spoiler of what happened on the front page of your website. It is 2013 in the age of the DVR (not to mention the move away from just strictly 9-5 jobs), where it is common knowledge that not all content is watched the minute it airs it is inexcusable to give away details like this.
And even if you want to link to stories about this content it is so easy to do so with just including spoiler tags. So then USE SPOILER TAGS.
Last year you spoiled the events of Walking Dead three separate times. As well as many other shows.
Yahoo is the host of many other services, not just TV news, so when someone goes to use one of those services and cannot help but come across spoilers for their entertainment Yahoo has just completely ruined their experience. And for the laziness of just not taking a little extra effort to code in a spoiler tag.
Stop the idiotic spoilers on your home page.
Hi TV lovers,

This is not about links for one article or that article. Yahoo is frequently posting spoilers on their home page. Things like "major death on Game of Thrones last night" with the very picture of the character who died. Many similar events. This is not about one "author" using a spoiler, it is about your entire network posting spoilers on the home page. Even those who go to check the world news, the sports, or their email now have their TV experienced spoiled. In this 21st century world not everyone watches television the hour it appears on TV.
All of this could be fixed by a simple spoiler tag. But Yahoo, or its contributors, simply refuse to use them. It's such a simple line of code. Learn to use it.
