You can start by dealing with the filth and **** on non- adult sites.
You screwed up just by not excepting the start of my suggestion, wich tells me you are still being dishonest. To fix most group **** in non-adult groups would be to replace bouncing owners with another moderator who can deal with the problems.
Abandoned Yahoo groups ARE a big problem: once the moderator stops responding the group can devolve. Perhaps Yahoo could find a way for members to vote in a replacement moderator. It's tricky, as spammers could try to take over a group. But the vote would only work in the case where a moderator does not respond for, say, 3 months or more.
Virgil, where do you suggest yahoo would find decent new moderators that don't cost any money?

The sadd thing is, we who used to like yahoo are pulling out.
You spend so much time addvertizing about all the great fixes your implementing, that you have only broken something that worked.
